MORAL VALUES OF QURAN

The 'Test' in the life of this world

“You shall certainly be tried and tested in your wealth and properties and in your personal
selves, and you shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the
Scripture before you (Jews and Christians) and from those who ascribe partners to Allah; but
if you persevere patiently, and become Al-Muttaqun (the pious) then verily, that will be a
determining factor in all affairs.” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 3, Verse 186

“And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that surely, with Allah is
a mighty reward.” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 8, Verse 28

Allah tests each one of us with things that are within our reach

“O you who believe! Allah will certainly make a trial of you with something in (the matter of)
the game that is well within the reach of your hands and your lances, that Allah may test who
fears Him unseen. Then whoever transgresses thereafter, for him there is a painful torment.”
The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 5, Verse 94

When will we be paid for our actions in this world?

“Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages
in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is
successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). The
Holy Qur'an, Chapter 3, verse 185

No ones work will be lost

“So their Lord accepted of them (their supplication and answered them), “Never will I allow to
be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female. You are (members) one of another, so
those who emigrated and were driven out from their homes, and suffered harm in My Cause,
and who fought, and were killed (in My Cause), verily, I will expiate from them their evil deeds
and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); a reward from Allah, and
with Allah is the best of rewards.”” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 3, Verse 195

Each one’s good deed will be doubled

“Surely, Allah wrongs not even of the weight of an atom (or a small ant), but there is any good
(done), He doubles it, and gives from Him a great reward.” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 4, Verse
40

Allah is so Merciful that good deeds will be multiplied and small sins shall be
overlooked if you avoid the major sins

brings an evil deed shall have only the recompense of the like thereof, and they will not be
wronged.” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 6, Verse 160

parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a work of

Record.” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 6, Verse 59

“It is He, who takes your souls by night (when you are asleep), and has knowledge of all that
you have done by day, then He raises (wakes) you up again that a term appointed (your life
