GOVERNMENT RELATIONS AND LEGISLATIVE MATTERS ADVOCACY:
Before the United States Congress, on behalf of H.E.R.C. Products Incorporated, to overcome Small Business Administration HUBZone small business federal procurement setaside program qualification limitation, advocated passage of Senate Amendment to National Defense Authorization Act, amending the definition of a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) to allow certain publicly traded companies to participate in the set-aside program. Before the Arizona State Legislature, on behalf of Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, as Chairman, Legislative Affairs Committee, Scottsdale, Arizona to develop and advance Chamber Board of Directors legislative agenda in matters of commerce, industry and finance. Before the City Council, City of Scottsdale, Arizona, on behalf of Lone Mountain Vista Homeowners Association to privatize the residential community, advocated vacating and abandoning public right-of-way to roadways through the Lone Mountain Vista development, the first recorded City abandonment of public roadways interconnecting two city thoroughfares.
