God will make a way, where there

seems to be no way.

=]
God will make a way
God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength
For each new day
He will make a way
He will make a way
By a roadway in the wilderness
Hell lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and earth will fade
But His Word will still remain
He will do something new today

song sharing XD

He
- hymn
He can turn the tides and calm the angry sea,
He alone decides who writes a symphony;
He lights evry star that makes our darkness bright,
He keeps watch all through each long and lonely night.
He still finds the time to hear a childs first prayer,
Saint or sinner call and always find Him there;
Though it makes Him sad to see the way we live,
Hell always say, I forgive.
He can grant a wish or make a dream come true,
He can paint the clouds and turn the gray to blue;
He alone knows where to find the rainbows end,
He alone can see what lies beyond the bend.
He can touch a tree and turn the leaves to gold,
He knows evry lie that you and I have told;
Though it makes Him sad to see the way we live,
Hell always say, I forgive, I forgive.
Hakuna Matata (a song from Lion King)
- one of my beloved songs in my childhood, which is a joyful and uplifting song to
sing along when you feel troubled!
Hakuna Matata!
What a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata!
Aint no passing craze
It means no worries
For the rest of your days
Its a problem-free philosophy
Hakuna Matata!

Sowing Hope
- a song I composed in my F.5 as graduates gift for the school. Our future may seem
to be full of uncertainties, but just dont worry too much and stay hopeful.
Chorus:
Though the road ahead of us seems so bleak
Theres always a silver lining behind all the clouds
We will walk every step
With our motto one heart and one way

Have a little hope in yourself=]
Love God. Love Life. Love Yourself.

Esther Ng

SHE has a pair of beautiful eyes. Her eyelashes are long. Her smile is true and
warm. She has a sweet voice.
She is probably my first new friend I met on the first day of University, except
my friends at hall. My first common core lecture was really boring, with the
lecturer teaching Chinese architectures specific terms using English. Nearly
half of the class went asleep. As I didnt want to ruin my first lesson to spend
time on sleeping, I looked around the classroom. I noticed a girl in front of
me in the next few rows----probably sleeping? But she instantly woke up and
seemed to pay full attention to the lecturer. Was she really listening? I doubted.
When the class was finished, I started to walk out of the lecture room. I
glanced at that girl and she finally got up. I planned to get my University card
after class. Wondering which direction I should go, I was distracted by that
girl again. Oh, she was using a folding cane! I observed her for a few seconds.
Nobody approached her. She passed by me. Though I did hesitate, I asked if she
needed help. Then, we went to get our University cards together. Thats how we
knew each other. This Arts student has a problem with her eyes that she may
eventually become blind.
One thing I felt sorry for her was that I didnt provide her a helping hand
when she was in trouble. One day after watching a match at Flora Ho, I went
back hall by passing ging guo bridge. She was walking down and I was going
upward of the bridge. My friends and I just walked to one side and provided a
path for her to walk. I saw her looking worried and puzzled. When I reached
the top of the bridge, I looked back and saw her trying to cross the short road
to the bus station. She was finding her way but didnt know where she should
walk. She stopped on the safety island in the middle of the road. I regretted for
not helping her and ran down of the bridge. Fortunately, someone helped her
and led her to the bus stop at last. I stared for a moment and returned back to
my hall. Imagine you were walking down a steep road with heavy bags on your
back. It would be quite tiring. What if you could only see blurred dark shadows? Sometimes offering help really requires immediate action.

19

In semester 2, I tried to have lunch with her once a week. I feel very happy
when we meet together each time, sharing the bits of our life. To my surprise,
her eyes situation deteriorated since Form 3 only. She was once an athlete running in the field and getting medals.
( The above paragraphs were typed earlier this year, but I failed to finish this family letter on time before the deadline of Faith. So let me continue XP)
I am glad that we had lunch and outing together for several times. The time
spending with her gives me energy always to move forward in the hustle and
bustle of my life, especially in this semester. What impressed me most is her attitude towards life. She was just a normal girl before losing her eyesight. Asking
her whether she feels unhappy or not about her eyes situation, she replied, Of
course I felt down at first. But, I cannot change this. And sometimes it may
be better if I cannot see this world but just feeling it! Wow. What can you say.
She adapted to great changes during her times of turmoil and a totally different way of life. Her zest of knowledge, perseveration, optimism, boldness and
faith overwhelmed me. We so-called normal people without disability, what
are we complaining during times of difficulties? Many people around us live
up their lives positively. I sincerely urge every one of you to reflect your way of
life. Never say never. Try all the possibilities out of the impossibilities. Pray to
God in times of obstacles and appreciate your life. Always have a little hope in
yourself and you can see this world with different perspectives. =]

In this very occasion of joining the Katso committee, I would like to take this opportunity to meditate on these verses below that have been prompting in my mind lately.
This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. No one has greater love than
this, to lay down ones life for ones friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is
doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from
my Father. It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go
and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may
give you. (John 15:12-16)
Sometimes our ego makes it difficult for us to refer every merit back to him; after all we
seem to have made some sacrifice. Once again, through talking to his disciples, Jesus
reminds us of the mere fact that we are chosen by him. He is the one who has taken the
initiative, not us. What we have done is just to say a yes so necessary, so much so that
without it we cannot obtain our own salvation. Humility is the key not just to acknowledge the fact, but also to rejoice in it. Therefore true humility requires the love for God
in order not to make a person indifferent and unable to exult. As we try to learn this in
life, let us call to mind a teaching given by St. John of the Cross - to be taken with love
for a soul, God does not look on its greatness, but the greatness of its humility.
We may sometimes feel disconnected to God. It is understandable because by attaching
to God we have to detach from the world, and the world would hate us. (cf. John 15:19)
Here a decision is asking of us, but even if we say yes to him, how could we attach to
him? In an earlier part of the same chapter, there lies the parable of vine and branches.
Hence we may truly comprehend what it means by bearing fruit that will remain. If we
work hard, our life will naturally bears fruits, in which many however will not remain.
At the end of the day, everything but God vanishes. A willing soul would find his
way by examining his conscience to see clearly if one has made Christ the centre of
his life. Therefore the Spirit would give us light to guide our souls back to God as the
branches to a vine, attached and connected.
Having said all these, I realize that I still have a lot to work on. I sincerely urge you who
are so kind reading this sharing from an unworthy soul to pray for every soul in the
Katso. May God bless you.

I will be a part of the KATSO committee after a few days. What are my feelings for being a part of KATSO committee? I do not have many, because I am still not a KATSO
EXCO! Yet, KATSO gives me a warm feeling that I can not experience somewhere else.
This is the reason why I love KATSO and why I want to be a part of it.
My jongmates are always supportive, especially during the campaign period. We
share our laughter and tears together. They give me a sense of belonging in KATSO.
KATSO is an important place for me to find my faithI pray, I read Bible.

First, I would like to thank God for guiding other jong mates and me
through the whole process.
One of the most difficult decisions I have made after I came to Hong
Kong was to . Though I was truly interested in becoming an exco, I
hesitated because of the questions like Am I really an appropriate person
to become an exco? or What if I become a burden to other members?
that I had to ask to myself.
After the deep consideration and activities, I made my final decision. And I now feel more confident and prepared to carry out my job. I
sincerely believe this is another chance to learn, realize and spread Gods
messages and teachings in my everyday life. Also, I am very grateful that
I can serve for God and people I love. In the coming year, I will try my
best while keeping what I have written here in my heart. Thank you!
