Jason Ng Trainer, Family Life Educator, Parenting Coach

Jason started his first career with IBM upon graduation from NUS in 1990. He has worked in various parts of the world including Russia, China, Malaysia and Indonesia. In 2005, he decided to return to Singapore so as to spend more time with his family and bond with his children. Since 2006, Jason has been a Family Life Educator with Families For Tomorrow Services, an MCYS appointed School Family Education (SFE) service provider which conducts family education programmes at primary schools, secondary schools and junior colleges. His wealth of experience in parent-child relationship management has made him a well sought after speaker around the region in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Many of his parenting resources are published in the regional parenting portal www.AsiaParentingChampions.com Jason has conducted talks, trainings and workshops to thousands of parents, teachers and students on a wide range of topics including parent-child relationship management, character education, maximising of childrens potential, social and emotional learning for teenagers, multiple intelligences of children, anger management for children / teenagers, work-life balance and computer gaming addiction. Jason is passionate to advance parenting skills by providing high quality training programs and personal coaching for parents. Jasons forte is on the handling and prevention of computer gaming addiction - a phenomenon that is pervasive in todays society. His book Net Alert! Helping Your Child Overcome Internet Addiction Through Building Strong Relationships launched in August 2009 is now available in major bookstores. The book is a powerful account of his coaching sessions with parents whose children are beyond parental control in their computer hours. To share his passion in helping parents with this prevalent social concern, Jason was invited by Mediacorp Singapore to be the guest speaker for Singapore Parenting Congress 2009 held in July last year. Jason is happily married to Emelyn Ho, a teacher with an immense passion for the Chinese language, with whom he shares the joy of raising two lovely children - Faith and Caleb. Being a committed father, Jason inspired Faith, who took her PSLE in 2009 to publish and launch her book Happily Evr After during the June holidays ( www.faiththeauthor.com ). Faith is currently studying in Year 2 in Raffles Girls School (Secondary). Jason and Emelyn were guest speakers for Singapore Parenting Congress 2011 this year July 10th, 2011. They shared with a packed audience of parents on Effective Parenting Strategies Helping Your Child Manage His Computer Hours as husband and wife. Jason is also a highly successful Education Success Coach at MindChamps, Jason presents weekend workshops for parents and children. Jasons vibrant and humorous personality makes him an engaging Speaker.
