TEACHING METHODS
C
IC adopts the motivational teaching approach whereby the children are assessed on their progress on a regular basis without examinations. Learning is fun at CIC when the young learners are not graded in term of their examination marks.
By giving lot of supportive books and materials, the children learn at their own pace. CIC will give varieties of exposures through thematic lessons in order to offer them higher chances to develop their intellectual, emotional and spiritual capabilities. As a standard practice, CIC uses phonics and whole word approach in Reading, Mental Arithmetic in Mathematics, Iqra' for Reciting Quran and Thematic approach for Social Sciences and Islamic Cultures.
