dXC Teams frame features a new Dyad XC Elite lay-up which is lighter, stiffer and snappier than our traditional Dyad lay-up, thanks to a higher percentage of high modulus carbon fiber. With the maximum bending load at the front of a bike being found at the crown, a 1 1/81.5 tapered headtube strengthens and stiffens the frame, while helping to reduce weight at the same time. Dakotas chainstays are asymmetrical, with the driveside larger than the non-driveside, yielding more volume & stiffness to offset drivetrain torque. Our dXC Team seatstays run full length from dropout to seat tube increasing lateral stiffness while offering greater vertical compliance than standard larger diameter monostays. Rock Shoxs 100mm travel XX SID World Cup with 32mm 7000-series alloy stanchions and magnesium sliders casting features reduced weight & increased stiffness. The SID floats on Dual Air suspension -- where both positive and negative air chambers are independently adjustable, making for an extremely light, highly tuneable suspension system. SRAMs XX BB30 system a lighter, narrower (better Q-Factor), stiffer and more durable crank/BB system than both traditional & external BB systems. Oversized 30mm alloy spindles with bearings pressed directly into the BB shell offer weight savings up to 12%. An additional benefit vs external bearing systems; the bearings are less exposed to the elements. The double ring 42/28T chainring combination maximizes power transfer and stiffness while minimizing weight. The standard 3rd chainring is rarely missed thanks to the huge gear range of the SRAM XX 10-speed cassette. American Classic wheels have taken cross country riding and racing to a higher level of performance. Their lightweight and durable deep section rim design is also wide and stiff to translate into quick acceleration. The AC 130 and 225 hubs are time proven to be stiff, strong, reliable and still one of the lightest hubsets on the market. Ritcheys 4-AXIS 44Stem uses a squared body profile for a stiffer ride and a wider 44mm front cap that supports more of the carbon riser bar yielding more precise steering & handling. WTBs Silverado Team features an elongated shell that offers superior racer-body fit. The long narrow length allows the rider more pedaling positions. Complete with NiCro Tubular rails & kevlar protective corners Geax TnT (tube no tube) Technology allows a rider to run their tires with a tube or without, MINUS the weight penalty of a standard tubeless UST tire but WITH all the benefits: low air pressure, better traction, zero pinch flats, lower rolling resistance.
