Dear Clubs and riders,

We would like to invite all Equestrian clubs of Thailand to join our upcoming competition, the Horse Lovers Open & Thailand Show Jumping Championships Round 3& Thailand Pony Show Jumping Championships Round 2 from 23rd-26th February, 2012. Our schedule offer Show Jumping classes in all levels and Dressage classes up to Elementary level. The Thailand Championships classes (except Pony Jumping Championships Qualier) have an open section for all riders. We like to announce our Ofcial partner of this event, B.Grimm and LOccitane who kindly sponsor the B.Grimm Elementary Cup, the LOccitane Preliminary Cup, LOccitane Team 80 cm and the B.Grimm Show Jumping Open,130 cm. Rules and Regulations

General rules

The competition will be run under Federation of Equestrian International (FEI) and Thailand Equestrian Federation rules(TEF). In any circumstances where FEI or TEF rules are not available the Organizer will have the authority to make a decision. The organizer has the right to -Bill any participating club the cost of cleaning stables or repair work -Alter advertised times if necessary. -Cancel any event or class. -Divide any class. -Refuse any entries. -Increase or decrease the height of the obstacles depending on the entries. Thailand Championships rules Please contact TEF website www.tefthailand.com for additional rules, regulations and restrictions concerning the Thailand Show Jumping Championships. Competition rules All riders are expected to wear a hard hat, riding boots and shirt when on the horse. All riders are expected to participate in the prize giving mounted or not mounted accordingly to the organizers announcement.

The competition grounds and stable area must be kept clean and tidyat all times. Washing down horses should be done in the washing bays only and not inside the stables.

Cooking inside the stable modules will not be allowed. Smoking is prohibited in all stable areas. No groom accommodation. At the end of the competition, all stables must be cleaned of all dung and waste. Vaccinations and blood tests In order to keep Bangkok area as an EIA Free Zone it is required that your horse is being regularly tested for Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) and Surra every 3 months. For everyones best interest your pony must be vaccinated against Equine Inuenza and Japanese B Encephalitis (JE). Horse passports (National or FEI) and negative updated blood results for EIA and Surra are required upon check-in, to be handed to the secretariat ofce Accommodation Rooms for rent are available at our Horse Lovers Hotel. Insurance All owners and competitors are personally responsible for damages to third persons caused by themselves, their employees, their agents and their horses. They are therefore strongly advised to take out third party insurance providing full coverage for participation in equestrian events at home and abroad, and to keep their policy up to date.

Code of Conduct 1. At all stages during the preparation and training of competition horses, welfare must take precedence over all other demands. This includes good horse management, training methods, farriery and tack, and transportation. No abusive animal treatment will be tolorated. 2.Horses and competitors must be t, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete. This encompasses medication use, surgical procedures that threaten welfare or safety, pregnancy in mares and the misuse of aids. 3.Events must not prejudice horse welfare. This involves paying careful attention to the competition areas, ground surfaces, weather conditions, stabling, site safety and tness of the horse for onward travel after the event. 4.Every effort must be made to ensure that horses receive proper attention after they have competed.
