Hand-built wheel systems made in Eugene, Oregon USA

rolfprima.com
about
The spirit of curiosity and ingenuity that started years ago
with our first paired spoke prototype continues today. While some
things change, what matters most stays the same. Rolf Prima hand
builds all wheels in Eugene, Oregon with a team that lives cycling.

With countless podium finishes, records broken, race wins and

IronMan victories to our name, we know that the wheel we are
building on any given day could be ridden by a Pro at Kona, a team
in the Classics in Europe, or by any one of us on a rainy winter
commute. This knowledge frames every decision we make as
we design, test and build each wheel. We have always, and will
continue to put function above form, and testing above marketing.

Working with the lowest spoke counts available

and deep section rims, Rolf Prima TT and TdF
wheels are designed to give you every advantage.
Whether it’s a time trial or leading the pack up
the hill, the less drag your wheels create and the
lighter they are, the faster you go.
t
For riders on most time trial courses, a disc wheel will save you significant
time. Combine the Disc’s aerodynamics with its best in class weight and there
is no penalty in choosing a Disc on race day. Choose a front wheel from the
TT, TdF or ARES family for the definitive time trial set up.

IT’S A COMMON QUESTION. Is there really a difference if I

upgrade from the wheels that came on my bike? Yes. Aside

ec
from shaving weight and improving aerodynamics, our build

quality will provide miles of hassle-free riding.

Our deep section race/training wheels are built to be race

ready. The Echelon SL and Echelon are built using the

technology of the Vigor family, but with added rim toughness

for rougher roads or heavier riders. The Echelon family has

all of the aerodynamic benefits in a wheel that can handle

everyday abuse.

a
Don’t sacrifice weight for durability. The low profile Aspin

SL and Aspin models give you increased durability at a light

overall wheel weight. Based on the Elan, the Aspin family

is built for racers and enthusiasts who want the high end

climbing performance with added rim toughness.
