HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! Happy Birthday to Prophet! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Some say it is 9th Rabiul Awwal & some say it is 12th Rabiul-awwal. People are themselves confused but any way we celebrate Our Prophet's Birthday mostly on 12th . MILAD-UN-NABI so it is called. But have we ever thought that why should we celebrate prophet's birthday. Is it a form of worship or any pillars of Islam or something like sadaqah or good works. If we would have thought for a while then we would have realized that, "Is it more justifiable to celebrate PROPHET'S BIRTHDAY once a year or is it more justified to follow PROPHET'S WAY throughout the year and always". If we would have given slight stress on Quran we would have find this verse which is worthy to note: ""Indeed in the Messenger of Allh (Muhammad SAW) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allh and the Last Day and remembers Allh much""(33:21). Now tell me one thing HAVE PROPHET CELEBRATED THE BIRTHDAY'S OF PROPHET NOOH (Noah), MUSA (Moses), ISA( Jesus) etc (PBUH on all of them) even for a single day. HAVE PROPHET CELEBRATED HIS OWN BIRTHDAY. HAVE COMPANIONS CELEBRATED PROPHETS BIRTHDAY. SO IT IS NOT SUNNAH OR PROPHET'S WAY. If anyway we still celebrate our prophet's birthday then why not for others prophet's also. Have we ever imagined that by not celebrating other prophet's birthday equally ALONGWITH prophet Muhammad's (SAW) we are putting this verse of Allah under our feet: """The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allh, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers" - and they say, "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all)."" (2:285). """" And those who believe in Allh and His Messengers and make no distinction between any of them (Messengers), We shall give them their rewards, and Allh is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful""". (4:152) Still we want to celebrate Birthday of Prophet then why so much hue and cry. Why not quietly in home. Look what prophet said: """Do not over praise me as the Christians praised the son of Mary. I am His slave so say: ''Allah's slave and messenger'' [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] otherwise we will be in the same platform with the Christians what they did with Jesus, """"O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allh aught but the truth. The Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was (no more than) a Messenger of Allh and His Word, ("Be!" - and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rh) created by Him; so believe in Allh and His Messengers. Still we want to celebrate Birthday of Prophet by representing this hadith that we love prophet and so celebrate Birthday as narrated in Bukhari, """Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my life is, none of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father and his children."'' then still one question arises that why should we love prophet for ONE DAY only in the name of Birthday. Why not 365 days and whole life. This is only possible by following the ways of prophet instead of celebrating Birthday. Isint. So celebrating not only prophet's birthday but anybody's BIRTHDAY in general is

INNOVATION as prophet never celebrated the same in his lifetime neither his companions. And every innovations is a misguidance and every misguidance lead to fire as per Surah Fatihah verse 7. We cant establish by any means that celebrating BIRTHDAY is legal in Islam. Look at this hadith: Narated By Abu Said : The Prophet said, "Allah will say, 'O Adam!. Adam will reply, 'Labbaik and Sa'daik (I respond to Your Calls, I am obedient to Your orders), wal Khair fi Yadaik (and all the good is in Your Hands)!' Then Allah will say (to Adam), Bring out the people of the Fire.' Adam will say, 'What (how many) are the people of the Fire?' Allah will say, 'Out of every thousand (take out) nine-hundred and ninety-nine (persons).' At that time children will become hoary-headed and every pregnant female will drop her load (have an abortion) and you will see the people as if they were drunk, yet not drunk; But Allah's punishment will be very severe." That news distressed the companions of the Prophet too much, and they said, "O Allah's Apostle! Who amongst us will be that man (the lucky one out of one-thousand who will be saved from the Fire)?" He said, "Have the good news that one-thousand will be from Gog and Magog, and the one (to be saved will be) from you." The Prophet added, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, I Hope that you (Muslims) will be one third of the people of Paradise." On that, we glorified and praised Allah and said, "Allahu Akbar." The Prophet then said, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, I hope that you will be one half of the people of Paradise, as your (Muslims) example in comparison to the other people (non-Muslims), is like that of a white hair on the skin of a black ox, or a round hairless spot on the foreleg of a donkey." (Bukhari) Now what prophet said is that one from you, but companions are not present now which means we all be in Hell. So what does prophet actually meant by that is those people who were in the footsteps of you or say one who follows companions way. This is clarified by this hadith of Tirmidhi No 171 ''''Narrated byAbdullah ibn Amr Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: There will befall my Ummah exactly (all those) evils which befell the people of Isra'il, so much so that if there was one amongst them who openly committed fornication with his mother there will be among my Ummah one who will do that, and if the people of Isra'il were fragmented into seventy-two sects my Ummah will be fragmented into seventy-three sects. All of them will be in Hell Fire except one sect. They (the Companions) said: Allah's Messenger, which is that? Whereupon he said: It is one to which I and my companions belong.'''' There are some scholars and leaders who present the theory of addition in religion by companions as per the necessity of hour during their period which has been legally accepted by Muslims. For ex: compilation of Quran, Six Adhans in Fridays instead of five etc etc. Then also two things arise 1) That companions will never dare to add even a dot from his own to the ways of prophets. (The compilation of Quran started during prophet's time, the concept of six adhan in fridays as performed by Deobandis and Barelwis are baseless.) Anyway all these histories or hadith if present are WRONG or if in any way we accept it 2) then also we are not supposed to follow the ways of OTHER THAN COMPANIONS. If companions would have celebrated prophet's birthday then I would be the first to celebrate this BOGUS. Changes brought by Companions (if any) its O.K but other than that NO. Remember Companions knew the gravity of this verse of Quran: ''"This is the Revelation sent down from the Lord of the 'Alamin And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us We surely should have seized

him by his right hand (or with power and might), And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta), And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him."" (69:43 to 48). I must request to some of my brothers that they should not surpass the limit by blaming companions that they have or invented something of their own as per need of time. How can they disobey Quran where Allah demands: ''''' O ye who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Apostle and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves refer it to Allah and His Apostle if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: that is best and most suitable for final determination''' (4:59). So the ways of companions and prophet are one and only same one way as that of prophet's. So summarily the ways of prophet is the only means by which we can reach salvation, and there is no scope of celebrating ''MILAD-UN NABI'' or '''' MAWLID"" by any means in Islam. O'Allah! Guide us to The Right Constitution (Quran and Sunnah) The Way of those whom You have favored (The prophet & his companions and their followers and their follwers); not of those who have earned Your wrath (Kafirs i.e idol worshippers), or of those who have forget the constitution (Christians, Jews & Mushriks i.e Muslims involved in Shirk i.e worship something else along with Allah).
