Warranty SeaEagleproductsarecoveredfor 3yearsagainstanymanufacturing defect.Shouldanypartbecome defectiveitcanbereturnedforrepair orreplacementatnocharge. The3yearwarrantybeginsthedatethattheproductis deliveredanddoesnotapplytomotors,batterychargers, steeringconsolesystemandproductsmanufacturedby MinnKotaandTorqeedoastheseproductscomewiththeir ownmanufacturerswarranty.

ThenextpointtoconsiderishavingaU.S.CoastGuard approvedPFD(personalflotationdevice)Thetypeofwater conditionsyouaregoinginshoulddeterminewhichissafer foryou.Dependingonthecircumstanceandthetypeof boatingyouenjoy,youshouldconsiderothersafetymeasures(i.e.ifyou'rewhitewaterrafting,itmightbewiseto wearawetsuit,gloves,andevensomesortofprotective helmet).

WeHIGHLYRECOMMENDthatyouinspectandopenall packagesthatyoureceivetoensurethateverythingarrived ingoodfashion.Ifanitemisreceiveddamaged,please contacttheshippingcarrierfirstandrequestadriverto comebyandinspectit.SeaEaglewillbenotifiedbythe shippingcarrieroncetheinspectionhasbeencompleted. IfnecessarySeaEaglewillarrangeforthereturn/repair/replacementofthedamageditem. Beginbyattachingthe maststeptothemast stepcrossboardand secureusingthelarge washersandbolts.

Attachaleeboardtothe centerofthealuminum framebar.Firstinsert theboltandwasher throughtheinsideand thenthroughoneofthe blackspacers.Nextinserttheleeboardover theboltandplacethe otherblackspaceronto theothersideofthe leeboard. Completeassemblyby addingonelarge washerandthreaded wingnutwhichyoucan thentightentosecure theleeboardtothe frame.

Removethebowyoke andreplaceitwiththe maststepcrossboard (withattachedmast step)andsecurethe crossboardusingthe yokeboltsandknurled nuts.Thelooponthe maststepmustbefacingtowardsthebackof theboat. Locatethealuminum framebarsandattach thestraightendofthe bartothemaststep crossboardasshown.

Drilla holethrough thecenter(14fromthe edge)ofthecenter yoke.BeCAREFULnot todrillaholeintothe floorofthePaddleSki.

Attachthecurvedend ofthealuminumframe boltstothefrontsetof D-Ringsasshown.

Knota12lineandinserttheline underneathandthrough themiddleyokeandout throughthetop.

Knotthefreeendofthe lineandthentieit aroundthewhitenylon ring.

Sail & Rigging Connectthe2piece mastbyslidingthe halvestogether.Then carefullyslidethemast intothesailthroughthe openingatthebottom untilitisstoppedbythe headcapattheother end.

LocatethesteeringUboltsandwiththeplate andthreadedknobsfacingup,slidethemover therearyokeonthe PaddleSki.Donot tightenthe2steeringUboltsdownatthispoint.

Insertthebattenintothe openingnearthetopof thesail.Onceitisfully inserted,runattached ropethroughtheendof thebattenandtieitoff.

Positionthesteeringbar ontopoftherearyoke andthroughthe2steeringU-bolts.Securethe steeringbarbytighteningtheU-boltsusingthe threadedknobsatthe top.Makesurethatthe pre-drilledholeatthe endofthesteeringbar isfacingout. Attachtheoarpintothe handleoftherudder/oar andinserttheoarpin intothepre-drilledhole attheendofthesteeringbar.Onceinstalled youcanthenconnect theotherhalfoftherudder/oarusingthepush pin.

Next,placetheboom overtheendofthemast step,makingsurethat thesmallblackloopis ontheundersideofthe boom.

Insertthemastthrough theboomloop.Make surethemastisseated allthewaydown

CAUTION/WARNING! Themastthatison PaddleSkiisnot insulatedandcouldact asanelectricalconductor.Donotinstallthe mastnearpowerlines andmakesureyouare clearoftheminanylocation,especiallywhile onthewater. Oncethemastisup, takeoneofthe24 ropesandrunitthrough thegrommetonthesail thatisclosesttothe mast.

Locatethemainsheet (whichhas2brassclips attachedtoit).Attach onecliptothewhite nylonringatthecenter yokeandattachthe othercliptotheblack loopontheundersideof theboom.

Runoneendofthe mainsheetthroughthe whitenylonring. Thisiswhereyouwill beholdingthemain sheet,sorunallthe slackthroughandlayit neatlyonthefloor.

Thenruntherope throughthelooponthe undersideoftheboom andbackoverthrough thetop,knottingand securingtherope.

Takethelastpieceof 24ropeandrunit throughthegrommetat theendofthesailand tieitoff.Runthefree endthroughthecleatat theendoftheboom. Pulltheropetaut throughthecleat.

Thentakethe46rope andrunitthroughthe loopontheundersideof theboom.Pulltherope downandrunitthrough thelooponthemast step.Securetheropeto thelooponthemast step.Pulltheropetight beforetyingitoff.
