With whole new banks Poster of a camel in a desert creating its own successful path towards its destiny and with a new tag Line, Mr. Shiv Kumar M. D. of State bank of Bikaner and Jaipur bank with their fellow Directors yesterday (1st February 2012) held press Conference in Taj Mumbai. Following are some key Financial takeouts: Excellent Q3 growth of operating profit (53%) during the quarter ended Dec. 2011. Operating profit for the quarter ended 31.12. 2011 at Rs.425.67 Crores which is 53.05% higher when it compare to Rs.278.12 Crores for the quarter ended 31.12.2010 Net profit of the bank also shown considerable jump of 23.77%. The Net profit for the quarter is 163.94 Crores against Rs.132.46 Crores for the corresponding quarter last year. The Net Interest Income at Rs.629.57 Crores for the Quarter ended 31.12. 2011 shows an increase of 36.83% over the corresponding quarter of the last year which was at Rs.460.11 Crores No increase in NPA level is major highlight of the banks performance during quarter. Bank has brought down its Gross NPA from Rs.1652 Crores to Rs 1631 Crores for this quarter. Bank is also aiming to reduce it further to Rs.1500 Crore till 2012. Mr. Shiv Kumar also added that Bank is amongst the best performing Bank on NPA Front during the quarter. Its all due to better fund management and high yielding asset acquisition.
