1. Description of the Contest: The Bhagavad Gita As It is Contest Organized by Bhaktivedanta Academy for Culture & Education, (BACE). It is a contest in which a Grand Prize will be awarded to the Entrant who take participate in exam contest that receives the most positive marks according to the Contest standards. The Grand Prize will be awarded on the maximum marks achieved. All submissions copies that meet the contest standards will be considered for the Grand Prize Winner. 2. Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal residents of the INDIA who are 16-30 years of age. Member of BACE, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and members of their immediate families, regardless of whether they reside in the same household, are not eligible to participate .The Contest is void where prohibited. 3. How To Enter: You must submit your REGISTRATION FORM by following the st contest instructions. Registration must be completed before 31 January, 2009. At the time of registration you will be required to acknowledge that you have read the rules and the policies, terms and conditions for sitting in the contest. 4. Judging: Grand Prize All Submissions will be reviewed and examined by Experts of BACE. The entrant with the highest Score will be deemed the winner. Winners th will be declared at the Award Giving Ceremony that will be held on 18 August 2009 5. Prizes: Three Grand Prizes + 50 Consolation Prizes First prize: Srila Prabhupada Book Set+ Rs. 3100/Second Prize: Srila Prabhupada Book Set + Rs. 2100/Third Prize: Srila Prabhupada books set + Rs. 1100/and 50 Consolation Prizes. 6. Rights: Contestant agrees to assign the rights - title and intellectual property in their Submissions to BACE as a condition of competing for a prize. Entrants grant permission to BACE to use their names, likenesses, and biographical information for promotional or advertising purposes in all media worldwide, without notice or further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating, entrants hereby, release the Registration from any and all liability, or loss, damage, harm, injury, cost or expense which may occur in connection with their preparation for the Contest, or from their acceptance, use/misuse of a prize. 7. Winner's Lists: For the names of the winners, Name of winners will be declared on the Prize Ceremony day only.

Rules & Regulations of the Bhagavad Gita Contest


1. The "Bhagavad Gita As It Is contest is organized by Bhaktivedanta Academy for Culture& Education (BACE). 2. Participation in Contest is purely voluntary. Participation fee is Rs. 150 only, answer sheet will be provided by the BACE Invigilator at the time of contest. st 3. Contest Registration will be close on 31 January 2009. Entries received the closing of the Contest Period shall not be considered and the same will be invalid. Organizers shall not be responsible for delayed, lost, mutilated, corrupted or illegible entries. Organizers have the sole and absolute right to close or extend the Contest by any time frame at their discretion. 4. If more than one entry is received from the same user, either through the same medium or otherwise, only one such entry, of Organizers' choice, shall be eligible for participation. 5. Organizers' decision in regard to Winners shall be final and binding. No communication or objection shall be entertained in this regard. 6. Prizes received under Contest shall not be transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise. Prizes cannot be substituted for other articles or gifts. 7. All decisions of Organizers in relation to Contest shall be final and binding upon participants and Winners. No correspondence or objection shall be entertained in this regard. 8. Any disputes arising from or in relation to Contest shall be subject exclusively to BACE jurisdiction. Contest is only applicable in Greater Noida, Aligarh, Noida, D.U. (Delhi) & Ghaziabad. 9. The contestant hereby states and agrees that the results of the winners are final, unquestionable and binding for there may be errors/mistakes in managing the contest. In any case, participation or non-participation cannot provide cause of any claims. 10. It is hereby made clear that when a contestant wins a prize, he or she might be televised and advertised in a range of media, including printed press, websites and television. 11. Participation in this Contest implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Contest. The decision of the Q&A Providers on all matters pertaining to any questions and answers used on the Contest is final and binding on all contestants, including their appropriateness, timeliness and correctness of answer. 2. Questions can be asked on any topic and degree of difficulty at the discretion of Contest management. 3. If the participant gives two or more answers for any question asked on the paper, only the first answer in that case will be considered as the final answer of the participant.

4. If the Participant does not understand any question or is unable to hear the question asked during the course of the Contest for any reason whatsoever, no extra time will be given. 5. For purposes of the Contest, only communication in English and Hindi will be considered.
