REQUEST FOR ISSUANCE OF SUBPOENAE

The HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, through its PROSECUTORS, respectfully requests for the issuance of subpoenae ad testificandum and subpoenae duces tecum requiring the following persons to attend and testify at the hearings indicated below at the Senate Session Hall, Senate of the Philippines, Pasay City, in relation to the instant impeachment proceedings:

and to bring with her on 6 February, 2012 at 10:00 p.m. (or on such date and time as may be determined by the Honorable Impeachment Court), the original and certified true copies of the Income Tax Returns of Basa-Guidote Enterprises Inc. for the years, 2000-2010.

PURPOSE: To establish the records of Basa-Guidote which will show its capability to advance eleven million pesos (PhPll,OOO,OOO.OO) to respondent Renato C. Corona which will in turn determine the truthfulness of the entries in the Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth, specifically the "Cash Advance from BGEI (wife's family corporation)" entry under liabilities for the years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.
