REQUEST FOR ISSUANCE OF SUBPOENAE
The HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, through its PROSECUTORS, respectfully requests
for the issuance of subpoenae ad testificandum and subpoenae duces tecum requiring the
following persons to attend and testify at the hearings indicated below at the Senate
Session Hall, Senate of the Philippines, Pasay City, in relation to the instant impeachment
proceedings:

a. Position Paper dated May 29, 2007 prepared by the JHMC Management, which
chronicles the serious irregularities committed by Mrs. Coronai and
b. Position Paper dated June 04, 2007 prepared by the JHMC Management, which
chronicles the serious irregularities committed by Mrs. Corona.
PURPOSE: She will testify on matters relative to the recall by the Board of Directors of JHMC
of the election of Ms. Ma. Cristina R. Corona as JHMC President and Chairman and declaring
the position of the JHMC Chairman vacant. She will also authenticate the documents listed
above, and testify on the circumstances related to these documents.

e. Resignation letter of Loreto M. Pangilinan in 2007 from the JHMC Board of Directorsi
f. Resignation letter dated June 20, 2007 of retired CA Justice Teodoro Regino from
the JHMC Board of Directorsi
g. Resignation letter of Guillermo R. Ruiz in 2007 from the JHMC Board of Directors;
h. Resignation letter of Gerard R. Seno in 2007 from the JHMC Board of Directors;
i. Resignation letter of Amado D. Valdez in 2007 from the JHMC Board of Directors;
j. Resignation letter of Alberto M. Villalon in 2007 from the JHMC Board of Directors;
k. Letter dated July 25, 2007 of former Baguio City Mayor Reinaldo A. Bautista, Jr.;
I. President Arroyo's letter dated March 23, 2007 to the BCDA, expressing her desire
that Mrs. Corona be elected Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of
JHMC;
m. Executive Secretary Ermita's letter dated March 29, 2007 on the desire letter of
President Arroyo dated March 23, 2007 to the BCDA, for the election of Mrs. Corona
as Chairman ofthe Board of Directors and President of JHMC;
n. Minutes of the Board Meeting of JHMC on April 3, 2007, showing the election of
Mrs. Corona as Chairman and President of JHMC;
o. President Arroyo's letter dated July 12, 2007 to the BCDA, expressing her desire that
Mrs. Corona be elected Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Chairman, Board of Directors
of JHMC;
p. Executive Secretary Ermita's letter dated July 12, 2007 on the desire letter of
President Arroyo dated July 12, 2007 to the BCDA, for the election of Mrs. Corona as
Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Chairman, Board of Directors of JHMC;
q. President Arroyo's letter dated July 12, 2007 to the BCDA, expressing her desire that
Mrs. Corona be elected as member, Board of Directors and President of JHMC; and
r. Executive Secretary Ermita's letter dated July 12, 2007 on the desire letter of
President Arroyo dated July 12, 2007 to the BCDA, for the election of Mrs. Corona as
member, Board of Directors and President of JHMC.
PURPOSE: She will testify on matters relative to the appointment of Mrs. Ma. Cristina R.
Corona, as member of the Board of Directors, election as President and Chairperson of the
JHMC. She will also authenticate the documents listed above, and testify on the
circumstances related to these documents.
