and in short supply, therefore lignocellulosic materials like fuel wood, agricultural crop residues seems to be viable. Cellulosic materials can be used to produce bio ethanol; Bio ethanol represents an important, renewable liquid fuel for motor

vehicles. In order to produce bio ethanol from cellulosic biomass, feed is pretreatment to rupture the structure of the cellwall for easy accessible of cellulose.

Abstract

- The objective of present work is to make an analytical investigation to

explore the advancement in Fluidized Bed based gasification & pyrolysis process for recovering Energy and Liquid fuels from abundantly available agro biomass.

Gasification and pyrolysis are suitable technologies for promoting the utilization of biomass wastes. Fluidized Bed Combustors (FBC) and Fluidized bed Pyrolyzer

(FBP) will be the most advanced method for thermo chemical conversion of various biomass wastes into useful energy and other by-products. Gasification occurs in a limited oxygen environment. Gasification process produces a fuel gas that can be combusted for firing up furnaces and also to generate electricity. Keywords: Gasification, Pyrolysis, Fluidized bed
