I believe God is in control and you are doing fine. I Godwin Christian obi is writing you this proposal in response to the request made by your brother MR Richard Onwenu who is also a mentor, my lecturer and a father to me. During my conservation with him recently, I made him aware of my music and acting talents and the need for me to develop and explore these gifts in me. So he promised to talk to you on my behalf cus I asked of you. The sections below will be addressing my purposes, goals and visions, progress till date, my challenges and needs and my type of music. .PURPOSES My main purpose is to be a role model and mentor to a lot of people out there and also make them understand the importance of education and the difference it could make when you have other careers to develop like mine. Education does not stop one from becoming who they want to be but prepares, make them stronger and put them in better position to succeed and excel in their new adventure. Making money is a means to an end but the end itself is saving as many as possible souls I can through my gifts and position. .GOALS AND VISIONS As a motivationists, counsellor and a lecturer, I have lived my life so far believing that whatever God has blessed me with is not just for me to enjoy alone but to help other people in need, inspire and motivate them. The fame, attention and financials that comes with these careers will help me in reaching out to more people, making a positive difference in their lives and giving many reasons to live and appreciate what God has done in their lives, this is my calling and destiny and I have the passion for it cus I have already embraced and working on it. I want to be an international star cus that is my current level and I aim to go higher, get better and be among the best singers, actors and personality in the world. Nigeria is a stepping stone to my great destiny and I am proud to be a Nigeria. In future, I would like to set up a foundation solely for helping the poor and the needing ones. My goals and visions are endless and not static because God s love and favour over and in my life are unlimited and endless too. So if he takes me up there, I will not deny him anything cus it is my covenant with him. .PROGRESS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TILL DATE. I discovered my musical talent in august 2005 when I was in Ibadan even though I had always have the passion for singing and dancing from childhood. I was nineteen years old then and my friend told me that I can t become a singer because they don t believe I have the talents and in me but I believe in myself and in God. So I was challenged and challenges bring out the best in me. Today they look up to me and are seriously encouraging to release my first album cus I proved them wrong. The first song I composed was a copyright cus I used the melody of a popular group of singers NYSNC to compose the songs. So I asked Go for his sufficient grace to enable me to create something melodious and valuable of my own. I got my first song in September 2005 in Lagos cus I gained an admission to university of London external programme in Lagos that year. I was in a bus going back home from school and the melody just drop into my head and I recorded it in my phone. The title is my MY ANGEL . 1 GODWIN CHRIS

During my December 2005 break, I already had more than twenty songs of my own, so I did a demo for my ANGEL. It was my first time of being in the studio and I was very happy and feel so great. I learnt a lot from that first recording due to the criticism I received and my flaws. In 2006 June, I recorded three songs with FREESTYLE a popular Nigerian rapper and it was played on Ray power, Start fm and Eko fm. As a young, ambitious boy then, I thought having the talents is all I need to succeed in this career but I realised it s not good enough and I am not prepared for this challenge. My elder sister told me to focus on my studies and leave music for now after I sang one of my songs in Sheraton hotel bar during a dinner with her and her husband. So I listened to her and focus on my education. My family was against it due to the reckless life of some celebrities but I know I am different cus I have a good and solid foundation now and then to face and pass this challenge. As a chartered accountant (ACCA) to be, I have a public duty to uphold and behave well in the public. I now realised I needed some training to improve my singing ability and skills and also gather more knowledge about music, so I made plan for one. My first attempt, I paid for training in a music school in 2007 but could not complete and attend the classes due to my studies. So I took a break from pushing this career but never stop singing to people, composing songs and keep my passion intact. December 2010 after my exams, I did a demo for a song called ma se gba gbe ano after three good years of not training or really singing. I did not plan for it but God remembered me once more that it is my gift and I have to learn to embrace it which I did and started working to improve myself again. I contracted the service of a private music instructor to train me so I could have more knowledge and understanding of music and be able to play the piano and sing along. Today, I am a better singer cus I can play the piano on some major keys such as C, D while trying to improve on others. I am a natural composer and can discover an average of two melodies per day if I desire. I have over hundred songs already composed and more than a thousand melodies and choruses yet to be fully composed. I am a high octave singer naturally but can sing very well on low octave too cus I have a good depth according to my trainer. My vocal range is better now and o can harmonise a song taking the Tenor and Auto if played by the pianolist. I know there is still a lot to learn and improve on when it comes to music and I am ready and willing to commit myself and life to doing so cus I love learning, music and have a real passion for it cost it is a big part of my life now and I can t do without it. There is little progress on my acting career due tom limited resources and fraudulent agent or film production firms that I have came across. In 2007, in discovered I also have the talent and passion to be an international actor but needed to go for a training to improve these skills. So I enrolled with a film academy but will were frauded cus they took our money, wasted our time by gathering us to gather to rehearsal for film shooting but its all lie. This June 2011, I wanted to join Pefty Academy for a three months acting course but could not do so cus I realised I have to develop my music career to a certain level first and that is why I enrolled for my music classed. I believe I have what it takes to be a great actor if given an opportunity and necessary training and exposure. My strengths or preferred roles in acting will be a counsellor, motivationist, helper, changer driver, lover boy, financial consultant, lecturer, play boy etc cus I am very flexible and also a fast learner. .CHALLENGES, NEEDS AND OFFER My major challenge has always been resources and support from my family because of their perception of celebrities especially musicians. I believe in God and myself and I know I have these talents in me and I have what it takes to excel if properly managed by the right person or persons. What I need now is to build a name for myself through exposure, gaining more experience in these fields and hopes to get a contract to produce my first album cus it will be a dream come true for me. I still need more training and experience before I can record my first album but I am ready. It will be an honour to have you manage me and help me develop these careers cus I know I will be in good hands and someone with high level integrity, morality and a great personality. now is cash cus my family won t support me and my savings is just currently #200,000 which is nothing compared to what I need to develop these careers but I believe nothing is impossible with God and my lack of financial power won t stop me from achieving my goal in life and In these careers. As a chartered Accountant (to be) I will be offering all forms of financial and non financial services to my prospective helper and you especially promoting the name of the organisation cus I can perform the following functions with adequate training; business and financial analyst, an auditor, financial and business consultant, investment appraisal and evaluation, tax consultant(uk) and other professional services cus the services of modern accountant trained by ACCA are not limited but inventive and innovative by nature. I am offering these as a way of saying thank you for help and support. I promise to uphold the principle, value and culture of the organisation .MY TYPE OF MUSIC Like I said above, I am naturally gifted and a good composer of songs. I sing gospel, hip hop, rhythm and blues, blues, rock, ceremonial music, inspirational and high life music. I can compose on any type of music apart from the ones mentioned provided the piano can play a sound for me and I will get a sweet melody that is good for the heart and spirit. I am currently trying to improve on rock and jazz music. However, I am naturally a rhythm and blues and soul singer. Conclusively, I am proud and glad to have you cus your brother told me a lot of great things about you and the way you started your entertainment career. You are role model to look up to and an example to follow by. I am inspired by GOD and personalities like yours. I am dying to meet you to get more inspired and learn more from you mama.
