community Televioion. the "Corporation", is hereby amended by the deletion of section 1 of IV in its entirety and Bubstitution of the following therefor: Section 1. organized; (a)
The purpose(8) for which the Corporation is

This Corporation tix organized exclusivly for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making . of distributions

to organizations that qualify as exempt organiZations under section 501(0)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding OeCtion of any future federal tax code.
In furtherance of its purposes, the corporation intends to promote the oreatiom, production and caLaecasting of programs by, for and about Hawaii. Such programs will be aimed at the preservation, development and enhancement of the diversity of thou9hL, culture and heritage within Hawaii. Through thlawu activities the corporation will

facilitae lifelong learning and the community's ParticiPation in the democratic process. To this end the Corporation chain (1) maintain those cable channels dedicated to public, educational. And governmental use in a manner that is free of censorship and control of program content, except a.5.' - neciamsary to comply with state or federal
(2) (3) provide a range of resources for program production

for the users of these channels; and

deVolop and enforce such rules and policies that will unsure equitable aCCesm to these channe1s. and
