Amul Product Launch Plan

This year the B-plan challenge is all about a unique concept of preparing a LAUNCH PLAN for Amul s latest offering in the market Flaavyo-the frozen yoghurt . The contestants need to prepare a live launch plan for taking forward Amul s latest product in the market which will include all those strategies and marketing concepts which you have learnt till now , those which keep coming to your minds but you never got a chance to implement them. So here is the platform to align those with this opportunity of a live product being offered to you. Attached are the image and the brief about the product in a pdf file. The best ideas will be actually recognized and included by Amul in its launching strategy across India along with cash prizes to be won. First prize: Rs. 20,000 Second Prize: Rs. 15,000 Third Prize: Rs. 10,000

EVENT FORMAT
Udyog will have two rounds: Executive Summary (PPT Format) & Full Plan and Public Presentation. 1. 2. 3. 5 teams will be shortlisted from all the participating teams on the basis of the executive summary submitted by them. The executive summary questions are provided on the website. The shortlisted teams will have to present their full plan The final round will be a public presentation during UDAAN after which final winners shall be announced.

The participants are required to come up with a plan on either of these:

Stage I (The Prelims)


Participating teams of maximum three members each will submit the Executive summaries in PPT format (not more than 10 slides) of their business plans. The Executive summaries will be evaluated on the basis of concept, strategy of execution, market opportunity, organization structure and financials. 5 best teams will go to the stage II.

Round 1 submission:o o
Each team needs to submit a PPT of not more than 12 slides executive summary inclusive of all exhibits and appendices but exclusive of the cover page. The front slide should carry o Institute Name & address

Stage II

The final round will be on the campus. The shortlisted teams have to present their Business plans in front of a panel of judges. The panel would include faculties and entrepreneurs. The short listed teams would be informed by mail. Teams need to confirm their participation within a day of receipt of the mail, failing which the next best team would be invited. Shortlisted teams will be required to present their Business Plan at IRMA Each team will get 15 min. to present their solution to the panel followed by 5 min. Q&A session. Accommodation will be provided to the visiting teams for 25th & 26th (day) February 2012. The decision of the panel of judges regarding evaluation will be final and binding. Teams shall consist of 3 participants only. Participants should be students of same college and must possess a valid college/official identity card. It is an online competition. The competition is a SINGLE ROUND competition. The participants are required to submit the print ad they make in a jpg/jpeg/png format. It is mandatory for all the teams to perform registration process on UDAAN website(www.udaan2012.in) The team size should be of maximum 2 people from the same institute. A participant cannot be a part of more than one team participating for the event. The solution should not exceed 1500 words inclusive of all exhibits and appendices.

Details of Round II will be discussed after the results of Round I.
