Learn the meanings of the following words and find out in which passages do they take place: Amicably, arbitration tribunal, diligence, conscious, seaworthy, testify, on oath, crucial, claim, accurate, in respect of, notwithstanding, victualling, exempt, provided that, scrutinize, split, pertaining to. What are the liabilities in respect of ships? What do you understand by minutes of the meeting? The decisions taken, action items decided, conclusions reached are entered in which document upon a ships safety meeting? Where would you find the previous meetings minutes? Examine and review the shipboard planning activities for dry dock. Safety in dry dock/repair dock? Who is responsible for what? What authority, function and responsibility does the repair superintendant have? Survey Execution and Structural Detail Failures and Repair (See and scrutinize Figure 04.04.1)
