A Spax screw is different. Its a combination of 4CUT point, MULTIhead and patented ground serrations making a Spax screw one of the best wood screws on the market. The 4CUT point bores into wood and divides the fibres, while the deep thread with ground serrations drives the screw on. This prevents the material from splitting. The patented MULTIhead has countersinking and stopping qualities at the same time. The ribs cut into the wooden surface, trimming off the drilled hole. The head can be driven home flush with the wood surface quickly and easily. The ribs also help prevent thread stripping when fixing hinges etc. Spax screws give trouble-free fastening in all varieties of materials: hard or soft wood, plastics or thin sheet metal. Zinc yellow passivated. Volume discounts apply to a mix of these items. N.B 100m and 120mm lengths are partial threaded.

These really are superb screws for high quality work. The Torx head has two major advantages. Hardly any pressure is required to keep the screwdriver tip in the head recess, virtually eliminating the chances of camming out. The transmission of the driving force is radial rather than axial, so less effort is needed, making them easier to drive by hand or by enabling more screws to be driven per battery charge. Combination 4cut point, MULTIhead and patented ground serrations make this one of the best screws on the market. Volume discounts apply to a mix of these items. Axminster Screw Gauge

This handy apron pocket sized tool quickly identifies the gauge and size of a screw. The graduations read for imperial gauge screws on one side with metric on the reverse. A scale along one edge measures screw length, either countersunk or round head (although for countersunk it has to be read backwards). The imperial size gauge also recommends the pilot hole diameter. Made from stainless steel 115 x 35mm, the Axminster Screw Gauge reads for sizes 1 to 30 gauge or 1mm to 10mm metric screws.

Axminster Bed Bolt Nuts - Packs 2

These nuts are a traditional way of joining a beds side rail to the leg. This method forms a very strong and neat joint that can be retightened at any time to take into account seasonal movement of the timber. At the same time it is easy to dismantle. This method is equally effective for joining the rails of a workbench to its legs. The smaller brass nuts have dimensions 24.5mm diameter (clearance in a 25mm hole), 22mm in length and tapped M10. The larger: 24.5mm diameter, 25mm long and tapped M12. The steel nuts are 20mm in both length and diameter, tapped M10. Sold as a pack of 2, bolts not included.

Magnetic Belt Clip

Kreg Extension Brackets Drawer Slide Mounting Tool

Once you have your full extension slides mounted into the cabinet, aligning the drawer box to the slides becomes the next challenge. Kreg mounting brackets are designed to make this process simple with either framed or frameless cabinets. Simply clamp a bracket under each slide, set the drawer box into the drawer opening so it balances on the brackets. Pull the slide to the front of the drawer box and secure it into position by driving a screw. Drawer box installation could not be easier.

Axminster Heavy-Duty Lifting Levellers - Pack of 4

A pack of four height-adjustable feet for levelling benches, machines, etc. Fix the brackets to the bottom of each leg or corner of the bench and then adjust the height with a hexagon key in the recess in the top of the screw. If used inside a cabinet, a hole will need to be drilled through the bottom shelf to give access for the hex key. The length of the foot is 75mm and the height of the bracket is 60mm. Load capacity is 270kg per leveller.
