PLATFORM OF GOVERNANCE Formation through Involvement and Trainings (FIT) My platform covers 3 main points: 1. Formation Based on the Vision Mission Statement of ARSA, we are a community with core values such as Integrity, Solidarity, Accountability and Service. Inculcating these values is not an easy feat, for a person cannot just change instantaneously nor would we want people to be like clones. ARSAns, for me, in this sense should share the core values but should be allowed to excel and do things they are passionate about. But how should this formation go? (1) Involvement in different ARSA projects and events (2) Trainings organized by the Department of Human Resources and Organizational Development to cater to different demographics 2. Involvement There are so many of us but so many few who dare step up or get involved. Imagine that there are about a thousand of us in a community. But how many people actually go and participate in ARSA events? Year after year, candidates who aspire to change this try to do something about it. Here I am, trying to make a change. I plan to utilize the human resources we have though involvement. How can this be made possible? (1) Grand Evaluation/Survey regarding ARSA events It may sound too stressful, but it is worth the try to get all dormers involved in evaluating and sharing what they think should be improved. This may also sound redundant since the core team usually does an evaluation regarding the project. But what I have in mind is an online form that ARSAns can fill out so that evalutions is open for all who would want to express their thoughts on the different ARSA projects.
(2) Extensive Research about skills and interests of ARSAns This research will serves as an avenue for Officers and project heads to know who to tap and a chance for ARSAns to share their talents and skills. This will also make it easier for organizers to know what activities to cater to the varied demographic in the dorm.

(3) Timely and enticing promotions A process and system that would ensure the timely release of promos. All forms of media must be utilize such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc. Target different peer groups because it is easier to mobilize people when we can assure that they will be with people with whom they are comfortable to be with during the event.
3. Trainings Modules are to be crafted by the team under the VP of HROD. These trainings are to be conducted to cater to the different needs of ARSAns and will be a form of empowerement that ARSA can do for the members. What are these trainings? (1) Training for the special team under VP HROD for both research and development trainings. (2) Tie up with VP SP to train project heads, heroes and hits (3) Topic specified seminars (sort of similar to One Core Talks offered before regarding self-confidence, conflict management, career talks, etc.) Lets be FIT! Fit may be a simple three letter word but it can refer to different things. May it be fit as referring to keeping in a good shape physically, or fit as the sense of belonging. But thinking beyond that, I envision ARSA to keep members FIT Formed through Involvement and Trainings.
