I am Drizzt DoUrden, once of Mithral Hall, once loved in marriage, once friend to a king and to other companions no less

wonderful. Those are the rivers of my memory, flowing from distant shores, for now I reclaim my journey... and my heart. Drizzt and his newest companion Dahlia, a darkly alluring elf, are tracking the perpetrator of a goblin slaughterone of Drizzts former allies, Thibbledorf Pwent, a dwarven battlerager. Pwent awoke from his grave to learn that hed been turned into a vampire and now hears a voice in his head, urging him to kill. Drizzt calls the great black panther Guenhwyvar to his side as he and Dahlia finally reach Pwent. The voice is revealed to be the ghost of Dorcrae, who kills a girl working under his command thus erasing the only clue to his location. Undeterred, Drizzt, Dahlia, Guenhwyvar, and Pwent pursue... (The events depicted in this book occur during the Neverwinter Saga novels.)
