MARKRT HIGHLIGHT
The Indian market closed with moderate gains after trading flat throughout the day. Capital goods, auto were the lead gainers; Nifty ended up 25.85 to settle at 5416.05 while Sensex was up 75.73 pts at 17848.57. European markets were in green with DAX up 24 pts at 6762, CAC up 9 at 3393 and FTSE up 4 at 5909. Dow future was up 19 pts at 128540.

Indian market ended up by 0.48%; Nifty up 25.85 pts & Sensex up 75.73 pts. Jan inflation m/m at 6.55% vs 7.47, Primary article at 2.25% vs 3.07%, Food article at 0.52 vs 0.74%. European markets were in green with FTSE lead; Dow future was up 19 pts.
