I recently ordered a Nubax Trio from the Healthy Back Institute in my effort to cure my back pain which is one of my goals for 2010. It arrived 3 days ago and I began using it immediately after setting it up. Setting it up was fairly easy and to my pleasant surprise, my back began feeling better after the 2nd time I used it on the first day. After using the Nubax for a total of only about 6 minutes I was already having some good results. Impressive results, actually. If you dont already know what it is, the Nubax Trio is a device for spinal decompression. It is an alternative to inversion therapy. Spinal decompression is a proven effective way to remove the pressure on the spinal discs and vertebrae, allowing nourishing and healing fluids to move around in the spine and heal any herniated or bulging discs. It also allows your spine to begin to move back into its natural shape when used frequently. There are many methods of spinal decompression but the most popular is by using a device called an inversion table. Inversion tables have some advantages over the Nubax Trio. Mainly that it can give you decompression up into the neck and also decompresses your hips, knees, and ankle joints as well. There are also some disadvantages to inversion therapy and many people with knee, ankle, or hip problems can not use inversion therapy because it may do more harm than good for those individuals. The Nubax Trio is the device that I chose mainly because it is smaller than an inversion table and is more portable. The cost for both are about the same, so I went with the Nubax mainly because of its size. I also dont like being upside down all that much so the Nubax Trio was more appealing to me. The Nubax could even be used on your bed and is very simple to use. I read about an 87 year old grandmother who has been doing exactly that and said she feels better than she has in many years! I have now had the Nubax Trio for 3 days and for 3 days I have been experiencing less back pain than I have in the last 4 or 5 years. If you got the flu shot, Im sorry, but youre dumb. While most of the population is out in a panic trying to get a flu shot, I cant help but wonder why someone would even want one. with taking the flu shot, you may want one for some reason. But I just cant understand why anyone would want to get an injection of an unknown substance from a stranger who says its good for them. Werent we all taught to read the labels of the stuff we eat, drink, and buy? I mean, if you actually read and understand the ingredients list on these vaccines I dont know how you could possibly want that garbage injected into your body! And what really makes me sick about the whole thing is that the media keeps pushing this whole pregnant women and children should be first to get the shots! Even the labels and packaging inserts say that children and pregnant women should NOT get the shots! Lets have a look at the ingredients in some of the recently approved swine flu vaccines, shall we? The following information was gathered from Dr. Mercolas website and google. In Canada, we got GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) s FLUVAL as far as I know. GlaxoSmithKline FLUVAL H1N1 Vaccine You can read the entire packaging inserts with warnings and ingredients here. FLULAVAL is a trivalent, split-virion, inactivated influenza virus vaccine prepared from virus propagated in the allantoic cavity of embryonated hens eggs. Each of the influenza virus strains is produced and purified separately. The virus is inactivated with ultraviolet light treatment followed by formaldehyde treatment, purified by centrifugation, and disrupted with sodium deoxycholate. FLULAVAL is a homogenized, sterile, colorless to slightly opalescent suspension in a phosphate-buffered saline solution. FLULAVAL has been standardized according to USPHS requirements for the 2009-2010 influenza season and is formulated to contain 45 mcg hemagglutinin per 0.5mL dose in the recommended ratio of 15 mcg HA of each of the following 3 strains: A/Brisbane/59/2007, IVR-148 (H1N1), A/Uruguay/716/2007, NYMC X-175C (H3N2) (an A/Brisbane/10/2007-like virus), and B/Brisbane/60/2008. Thimerosal, a mercury derivative, is added as a preservative. Each dose contains 25 mcg mercury. Each dose may also contain residual amounts of egg proteins (1 mcg ovalbumin), formaldehyde (25 mcg), and sodium deoxycholate (50 mcg). Antibiotics are not used in the manufacture of this vaccine. Yippee! Its day 30 and its almost over! The last day of my 30 days raw food challenge has arrived and I gotta say that its been quite a month! The whole thing has been a great success, but Ill get into the details in my final report which will be ready early next week. Its going to have all the details, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Days 26 and 27 were pretty average days. I felt just fine as I have for the last couple weeks of eating raw. I made some tasty guacamole out of an avocado and some spices on day 26 and ate it on day 27 after letting it stand in the fridge for about 15 hours. This helped improve the flavor. I have never made guacamole before and I have only eaten the stuff a handful of times before. It was pretty good, but making it was more difficult than I had imagined. I had no idea avacados would be hard to mash! I kept bending the fork I was using oops! Maybe I just had a hard one. The guacamole was pretty good. I dont really like avocados but I think guacamole is the best way Ive tried them. I took some pictures of the guacamole and some salads for this post but I cant locate the usb cable for my camera at the moment so Ill hopefully add them to the final report. Day 28 was weird partially because my sleep pattern was all bunged up like usual because of my current night shift schedule at work I really have to get on this making money online thing so I can ditch the slave labor - and partially because I woke up with a sour stomach.. You know, when you burp and it tastes like rotten eggs and smells about as nice? Gross! I thought that maybe if I downed a smoothie it might get rid of the sour stomach so I popped by Booster Juice to grab a smoothie. I forgot to tell them to hold the yogurt in the smoothie, so I had one with yogurt in. It was really tasty but it didnt cure the sour stomach. I would be inclined to blame the yogurt in the smoothie for the rotten stomach but my stomach felt that way before I stopped for a BJ. (booster juice, ya perv!) I the booster juice had acai berry and I got a vegetarian protein booster added to it since it was early in the morning. The smoothie got me going for the day but it had a lot of pieces of seeds in it which was annoying the girl at Booster Juice should have left the Vitamix on longer.
