Isaiah 43:1-3 1 But now, this is what the LORD says he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the re, you will not be burned; the ames will not set you ablaze. 3 For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead.

Matthew 20:28 the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Ephesians 1:7 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Gods grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 1 Peter 1:18-19 8 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

Colossians 2:13-15 13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your esh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Hebrews 2:14-15 14 Since the children have esh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of deaththat is, the devil 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Dwelling within His people: Dwelling among His people: our bodies. (1 Cor 6:19; The tabernacle (Ex 25:8-9) Romans 8:11)

Romans 6:16-17 6 Dont you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obeywhether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

John 1:29 29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 19:14 4 It was the day of Preparation of the Passover; it was about noon. Here is your king, Pilate said to the Jews. John 19:33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs.

Colossians 1:13-14 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Romans 6:18 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Matthew 5:1-48 You have heard it said . . . but I say to you Matthew 7:24-29 24 Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 28:19-20 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

1 Corinthians 6:19a 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? Romans 8:11 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

sow what ?
Have you experienced redemption from Satan and sin through the work of Christ on the cross? If not, consider receiving the payment for your liberation this morning by placing your faith in Jesus, believing that He was your substitute and shed His blood to pay for the wrong things you have done against God? If you have placed your faith in Jesus and are redeemed does your freedom include submission and service to God or are you ignoring Him and practicing selsh freedom? Are you obeying the teachings of Jesus and living in a way that demonstrates you belong to God?
