The story is much more of real life experience made into a fictional form to intrigue the readers, I, myself experienced curiosity about what will happen at the end of the story and that what keeps me from reading this book. The author gave his best way in making the readers think not only the characters situation but also your current mental state and situation in life. Paolo Coelho is a true optimist person regarding about pursuing our dreams and goals in our life, and his visions of what we should believe into were clearly manifested in his books, He carefully chose his words to be able to make the readers captured the necessary emotions in every wisdom he beautifully shared in all of his books.

I also think that in order to get something from this book, you have to be in a certain frame of mind. I never read self-help books which are essentially what this book is; I wouldn't describe it as a novel. The story that runs through in my opinion merely acts as a conduit for the teachings or 'wisdom' if you will. Some critics contend that the story is far too simplistic but the story is less about the shepherd boy who travels to Egypt to find his treasure and more about the countless themes that recur including the pursuit of happiness, spiritual enlightenment, the meaning or purpose of dreams and Fate. This book makes for a great study text for young people because there is so much to explore within it - for

instance the relationship between material wealth and spirituality or the part that organized religion plays in our lives or our pursuit for a singular truth. The elements of fantasy and innocence in the story will make it an unlikely tale for the cynical and those for whom romance is something to be avoided. But those with open minds may find something surprising here. I know I will find the ideas returning to me long after I have put the book away.
The greatest lesson I learned from him is that it is a lie to think that the destiny is in control to the things that are happening into our life right now and to the things that we are wishing to happen. When we are in search to our own personal legend we should keep in mind that we are all capable in achieving that by just believing and taking time to really figure out what our heart desires. To me, as a dance artist who are in search for a clear path or journey to my success in my passion in dancing. I experienced a lot of hardships that often times lead me in giving up my dreams and just walk away to that opportunity that can possibly change my life for the fears of the unknown things in the future, It is true that when we really want something in life there is some powerful unexplainable source of our motivation to pursue it, and thats what keep us from trying harder again and again for it is our calling, it is where we know we can find happiness and success. This universal language that the author always talks about in this book was making me realize that each one of us are in a search of what life could we possible have and what does it takes for us to be able to understand life, how we can live it and how can we be able to surpass all the challenges we may face along the way. The journey into finding our own personal legend is not that easy as what the author says because we need to have the willing heart, the positive mind and the brave soul for us to be able to be guided by the universe, there are things that we know why does it happened to us but there are also things that our unpredictable and that we are not in control of whats

happening already, but keep in mind that we have the freewill to choose the path or the roads to take on so that we can reach our dreams. As what Paolo Coelho always mentioned, the more we are making things happen just to be closer to that dream the more we are trying to find the life we always wanted and the more we are making our own life worth living, it is really making sense to me that as an artist I should have a very strong determination to accept all the opportunity that the universe is delivering for me for I made this decision that this is the life I want to pursue, as the clich phrase goes If you want that things badly enough and you always dreaming it have then the whole universe will conspire just to get you closer to your dream. Our belief can really affect the way we understand things and the way we approach things that are coming in our way. It is not a coincidence or just a twist of fate why we are in a this position that we can choose where we want to be and where we should be, because we already have this calling, we just need to search it and by finding it we should not just rely on ourselves, thats the another thing this story taught me that sometimes we also need the help of other people to achieve our dreams.

In life we always have goals and this is what makes us want to achieve things. I just want tell how important is follow our dreams as crazy, silly; they may see. It is important to be honest, to yourself and when you stop giving your 100% to follow your dreams because someone tells you that you wont make it this is when you stop being true to you and the world, because you are not trying to do the best you can and because you are rejecting the plans that God has for you. Follow your dreams because they are going to make you who you are, because you will accomplish a state of happiness, because it will show you why all the bad things that happened before was for this moments of bliss.

This story, timeless and entertaining, exotic yet simple, breaks down the journey we all take to find the most meaningful treasures in our lives into steps that are at once natural and magical. It is about the faith, power, and courage we all have within us to pursue the intricate path of a Personal Legend, a path charted by the mysterious magnet of destiny but obscured by distractions. Santiago shows how along the way we learn to trust our hearts, read the seemingly inconspicuous signs, and understand that as we look to fulfill a dream, it looks to find us just the same, if we let it.
Being a dance artist, I went through a lot for me to be in this position, I experienced lots of mistakes during my past that helped me to become wiser in each time or step I take, this also gave me hope that I know I can stand or face in whats hiding ahead from in the future. As a student this book has help me to take life responsibilities and priorities seriously, for there are times we have to stop searching or our dreams or following it not because we already dont want to make it happen but because we have other priorities in life that is needed to make it happen right away.

Patience is also plays a major role because I learned that the current age has made people to live in a hurry. Almost everyone is probably in a constant rush trying to keep up with everyone elses hurried life. Nonetheless, this is taking toll on our patience, in general. When we are always trying to get somewhere, or complete a list of never-ending tasks at hand, very rarely we are living in the present moment. In most cases, this makes having patience difficult, because we are just trying to get things done. Many people lose sight.

In order to help increase your patience when dealing with others, understand their situation. Indeed, it demands compassion and empathy for others problems. When we develop deep connection with others, we will treat them with care and patience. I know that by following my dreams Im much closer with God, because this is what my heart is telling me to do, I believe that everything happens for a reason, this book became my inspiration in pursuing my dreams, people may be out of focus or still in a little bit of confusion to where they really want to be and to where they can find their treasures or hearts desires and to me we should always keep in mind that the answer lies within us. As one of the lines in the book says Remember thus wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure there.
