2/17 Benchmark at GVS

Grades Have Been Updated in French 2ab as of midnight 2/17

The benchmark was Friday, 2/17 at midnight. I have graded all of the work that has been turned in prior to that time. I have not graded work turned in this weekend or Monday, 2/20. Students may still turn in assignments for partial credit until Friday, 2/24 at midnight, losing one letter grade for each day that it is late. Please check your grades.

How Can Parents Check Grades? There are two documents that all parents need to review: 1- How to set up a parent audit account. What now? 18 and 16 Week Group The following items are due by benchmark on Friday, 3/2 before midnight:. Chapitre Cinq-Revue de Cours This is a two week review period. Student should go to content>Rvision de Cours chapitre 1 4. Student should review each of the 18 content pages carefully and completely. Finally, students should take their midterm. The mid-term has 100 multiple choice questions. Student should allow at least one hour to take the exam. Before you begin, don''t forget to use the Sound File Test to check your computer''s configuration and support of the sound files included in the exam. are a few changes to the content, mostly in the directions for the writing and speaking assignments. The criture assignments include three items due to the designated drop box: 1. The completed graphic organizer 2. The final composition 3. The peer review form completed as a self assessment. All three items must be turned in to the criture drop box for full credit. Students do NOT have to complete a draft nor do they need to submit a draft to the discussion forum. For detailed directions and help with the conversation assignment students can login in and watch the recording of a recorded help session listed on the course homepage.

For the conversation, students should record themselves asking and answering two questions from each list of questions ( for example Part A, B, C). Student must also make three statements in French about a picture in the last part. Those students who demonstrate mastery of the vocabulary and grammar from the chapter will earn the best scores. Students do NOT have to complete a preconversation nor do they need to submit a preconversation to the discussion forum. Only they final conversation. All conversations must be digital recordings submitted to the drop box. Want to Work Ahead? Students are welcome to work ahead of the course schedule. However, it is very important that students complete assignments in the order that they are listed on the schedule. In other words, students may not skip assignments. The course is designed to build on prior lessons. If students skip lessons, they will be unlikely to succeed in future exercises.

Students should:

Spend at least 6 hours a week online completing assignments for this course. Print out and follow the schedule deadlines.
