Smith Tank & Steel, Inc. was started in 1997 by President/CEO Sam Smith Jr. and was soon joined by his brother, Vice President Billy Smith. Since then, the company has grown to become a nationwide contractor, specializing in the construction of above ground steel welded storage tanks as well as storage tank field repair in compliance with API 650, 653, 620, AWWA, & ASME coded vessels. Working around the clock, Smith Tank & Steel provides the highest level of safety and quality, while maintaining strict and timely schedules to meet or exceed customer demands.

(50 ft. eave ht) fabrication shop equipped with overhead cranes, latest state-of-the-art plate roller & plasma burning table 25,000 sq. ft. corporate office & warehouse space

All work is performed according to American Petroleum Institute 620, 650 & 653 or AWWA Specications Materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys and aluminum Smith Tank and Steel is recognized as one of the best tank companies in the nation for all types of vessels and above ground storage tanks.
