Season begins April 7th to June 30th Last Day to register players April 30th

--2 match qualification for Area Playoffs or Sectionals --New Default rule pertaining to the EXCHANGE of team line-ups --All captains are responsible to go to http//tennislink.usta.com/leagues/ or www.scta.usta.com, if they are the eventual winner of the local league and confirm their respective District Area Playoffs and or Sectionals scheduling. Captains are to submit the Captains Information and T-Shirt Order form online to the SCTA --Discuss qualifications and options for Nationals/Docs Team Fee etc --Scorecard/Team Line-up Exchange --Scorecard reporting 48 hour rule 72 hour double default no report --Home team provides courts for home court matches --Visiting team provides balls

S.G.V. league matches the best of two tiebreak sets if split sets a 10 point match tiebreak will be played in lieu of a 3rd set, first to 10 by 2 will win the match. Use the comen rotation procedure in the match tiebreak and in set tiebreak.
--All home court facilities must have restroom facilities for all players --Grievances/General --Rain-Outs Reschedulement --Lack of players NOT AN EXCUSE for Postponement or Reschedulement --Total Team Defaults Not Allowed Offset outcomes of draw in league

4. Captain Training Session

--Website for S.G.V. http://sgvusta.org --Duty of captains, scheduling of home courts, communication with opposing captains, scorecard exchange, and captains to notify coordinators of all changes in scheduling times or postponement of scheduled matches, read 2012Sectional Rules and Regulations (when published by December 28th 2011 ) , scoring format, visiting team supplies tennis balls, restroom facilities onsite, captains may check opponents for IDs.
