An Overview of Oki Town


Small agricultural town located in Fukuoka Prefecture About 14,500 people and 4,300 households in 2010 14% of towns total land area of town s 18.43 sq.km is comprised by canal network Popular for its local agricultural production, such as Strawberries and Mushrooms When SWM identified as an environmental issue in 1995, due to insufficient capacity in treatment pants and high operational cost, solid waste was incinerated and human waste and sludge from g septic tanks was dumped at sea
