1-Carry out Resource Assignment

The provisioning of the VAS services (e.g. Bulk SMS service to key customers) requires making appropriate resource allocations, for example, within the Short Messaging Service Center (SMSC) managed by the Value Added Services (VAS) group to allow Value Added Services (VAS) direct access to the key account customer through the leased link provided by the data and IT groups for the Bulk SMS service. This may also include opening up of ranges for voice mailboxes.

3. Assign resource(s) to service

1. Confirm resource availability Once appropriate allocation of resources has been made, the service is ready for implementation, configuration and finally end to end testing. The VAS group confirms to VAS Engineering the carrying out of the resource allocation so as to proceed further. 2. Confirm resource allocation Value Added Services (VAS)
