We are in the process of expanding our teams on various projects and looking for Vmware Specialist The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Responsible for continued build out and maintenance of the Cloud Director Se lf Service Cloud infrastructure Building and upgrading host servers, configuring SAN/NAS storage, and assist in setup of networking and firewalls for cloud infrastructure Troubleshoot issues and support customers escalated through Tier 1 and Tier 2 Research,evaluate, recommend and implement tools and processes that help to improve the efficiency and reliability of the Cloud infrastructure Maintain current hands-on knowledge of the VMware product line, specifically in a Service Provider environment Handle call escalation support in a service provider environment (evenings, weekends,etc) Job Specification: Minimum five(5) years experience in Windows and/or Linux server administrati on Minimum two(2) years experience with VMware visualization technology (vSpher e and vCenter) Minimum two(2) years experience configuring, troubleshooting and monitoring SAN and NAS storage technologies Must have strong communication skills and experience in a customer service e nvironment dealing with end users (technical and non-technical) Meticulous analytical and organizational skills Proven ability to multi-task Strong written documentation skills If you possess good communication skills and able to work from 5:30 PM to 2:00 A M then we are looking for you.
