About us Established in 2010, PROSOCC has pioneered Applied Consulting as an industry. It works on the tria of crowdsourcing, Civil Society Research and Venture Capitalist, with the aim of merging Public Policy and Entrepreneurship. It has been observed across the globe, without exception, that policies by the government are always appreciated for the intention but negatively criticized for the implementation and lack of target group involvement. On the other hand, the business models are most often, if not always, appreciated for the implementation and involvement but are questioned on their profit-making intention over welfare. It was with this observation, PROSOCC was launched. We target the goals of public policies through skills of business modeling and entrepreneurship. The organization was established in November 2010. Within a span of less than six months, it has been able to launch its first pilot project of Feed India', to a profit rate of 120%. Unlike other businesses, including social ventures, we dont retain control over our projects. Working on the BuiltOperate-Transfer model, we ensure to create models that are capable of being independently run by the people for whom it benefits, after we set its momentum. The major principle, on which PROSOCC operates, thus is independence amongst the citizens to improve their social claims and welfare. A common pool of resources is employed in a way that generates profits from operational business plans, thus increasing returns on investment for both the entrepreneur and the society at large. In a nutshell, we target the goals of public policies through skills of business modeling and entrepreneurship. We believe, any effort cannot be deemed fully effective, unless it involves the people for whom it is made. Our model: On one hand, we tie up with Research Organizations, NGOs, Civil Societies and Students (calledPROSOCC Knowledge) to do an intensive study of the market for developing case studies. The issues covered by them range from governance to product to management to advisory. Before a detailed case is built upon the identified problem,

the community members and the board of advisors of PROSOCC rank the issues in the order of priority they want those to be solved in. The top 3 cases are developed into detailed case studies, which are then open to the PROSOCC Minds team for the best business solutions. PROSOCC Minds team comprises of the partner Entrepreneurs, Business Students, Corporate Houses and Professionals. The solutions invited are again voted on by the PROSOCC Minds, PROSOCC Knowledge as well as the community members. The selected solution/solutions are then funded by the partner venture Capitalists, operating under PROSOCC Finances. The proposer of the solutions is the owner of the business model proposed, and is give full autonomy to run it as the PROSOCC solution. PROSOCC, the firm, is divided into 4 subdivisions: Minds, Knowledge, Finance and Management, each of which follows a Lead-on structure. The executive bodys roles are allotted on a project capability basis. In essence, the structure helps each individual, under each division, build on the following: a. Team leadership b. Expertise c. Capability and Capacity In a nutshell, individuals who are able to tap on entrepreneurial opportunities would be the Project Leads and can select a team to work with, on the project. The project lead would essentially be accountable for all actions taken by his/ her team members. The project lead himself would be accountable to each subdivisions Director.

PROJECT FEED INDIA

Initiated in 2010, the project of Feed India has yielded profits @ 120%. Under this, the residual edible food from restaurants, caterers, hotels and canteens (across Delhi) is collected by employed women, checked for quality by our food-administrator, arranged in lunch plates, and sold at the cheapest rates (before the food goes bad) to people in slums, construction sites and outskirts of the city. This simultaneously solved the problems of food disposal for restaurants, hygienic affordable food for the laborers, income for poor women and food wastage for the ecosystem. Partnership Model: As PROSOCC Knowledge Partners: (a) Identify the issues persisting in the society, starting from the local level, and prioritize in terms of the solutions needed. (b) Build an intensive case study, on the selected issues by community voting and by the Advisory Board of PROSOCC, for the Minds to make solutions for. (c) Guide PROSOCC Minds in the process of business modeling for better viability and implementation, helping them with your on-ground experiences and reality checks. As PROSOCC Minds Partners:

(a) Develop business solutions for the given case studies, in consultation with PROSOCC Minds. (b) Ensure that the models being generated include the targeted beneficiaries, as contributors to the model too. (c) Work on the finances of the model, in consultation with PROSOCC Finance Members. ** For partner Business Schools, the above activities undertaken by the students may be marked on for internal assessment, for added incentive for the students. As PROSOCC Finance Partners: (a) Fund projects proposed by PROSOCC Minds, under a mutually beneficial agreement as compared to the standard market agreement. (b) Help expand the network of PROSOCC Finances.
