Overall, there is quite good use of the active first person singular "I" stating what you did and how you undertook the engineering and supporting work by identifying the engineering and associated tools, techniques and/or methods you used. The first few paragraphs of the designated narrative for C2.1 primarily describe how you familiarized yourself with the project requirements, with minimal active interface with the client as required by the defining activities. The last of the designated paragraphs is ambiguous as to what you actually did due to the use of "we" without clarification of your specific involvement and action. Overall, the defining activities are just sufficiently addressed to endorse claimed element of competency C2.1. The requirements, as per the defining activities, are sufficiently addressed to endorse claimed element of competency C2.4. Similarly, the defining activities are sufficiently addressed to endorse claimed element of competency C1.5. The designated narrative for C1.4 lacks detail, other than risk assessment, of the tools, techniques and/or methods you used in developing the engineering solutions. In addition, in relation to engineering solutions you developed and the options considered; it is considered that "length of barrier" is only an engineering requirement for an engineering solution. Therefore, the defining activities are not sufficiently addressed to endorse claimed element of competency C1.4. Some of the defining activities, such as change, have only been minimally addressed; however, overall sufficient of the defining activities have been just satisfactorily addressed to endorse claimed element of competency C3.1. Please retain this original assessed CER, with the Assessment Report, for inclusion as part of your Engineering Practice Report (EPR).
