Collection & Transportation

The city and all cluster ULBs are divided into clear working zones which may be contiguous with the existing zonal structuring of the respective ULBs. A2Z starts the working prospectively and progressively so that all the zones get covered in 90 days of the COD. The door to door collection starts at 7 am and will go on till 1 pm. Even in the slum areas are covered efficiently.

 All the team members going door to door for collection of garbage are called Safai Mitra. Each Safai Mitra wears an eye catching uniform which is clean and has protective gear on his body like gloves and mask etc. The Safai Mitra with an 8-bin rickshaw goes to a house and whistles. One member of the house comes out with the package full of garbage and drops it in one of the 8 bins in the rickshaw. Once the rickshaw is full, it unloads into the nearby 1100 CC bin. The 1100 CC bin is unloaded in to the Refuse Compactor. There are no strewn garbage around the bins. The area around bins are clean.

 Each & every lane of each ward and each bin location are mapped, marked and tabulated. Each of the vehicles is equipped with GPS system and every incidence of the compactor halting at every bin is monitored and recorded.

Old dhalaos (community waste stations/WSDs as they are called in Any Indian City) have been cleaned and abandoned. The user charges are collected by us and we use the onsite online data loggers to collect payment, track user response and issue receipts.

This material for RDF is shredded and homogenized to RDF Fluff

and is briquetted for greater market acceptance. Holcim in India

already buying for Kymore cement Kiln. Apart from Compost and RDF we recycle the Waste to produce:

pouches. Recycled plastic granules from the non-laminated plastic

Construction grade aggregate, Building blocks, interlocking

tiles, and agriculture aggregate from construction and demolition debris.
