MAXIMIZING PRODUCTION

2011 Fielding Systems

SCADAVISOR WEB SCADA FOR 24/7 MONITORING Supports leading flow computers, artificial lift devices, pump off controllers, tank level sensors, and other field devices Captures data from remote devices and reports them in real-time Advanced alarm engine allows alerts to be created and sent when any condition is met on data collected Includes trending alarm capabilities that can detect potential issues before they become serious problems Reduces lost or deferred production caused by downtime Increases production through production analytics Manages field devices remotely

SCADAVISOR ARCHITECTURE
ScadaVisor is a web-based, SCADA solution that includes an unmatched mobile application that supports all webenabled mobile devices such as iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry. ScadaVisor is offered on an active device basis. An active device is defined as a data collection endpoint that was polled in a given month such as a flow computer. If a flow computer is used to collect data from multiple sensors such as pressure transducers and tank level sensors, the company is still charged for the single flow computer device.

SCADAVISOR SERVICE AREAS

The following table contains the major service areas of ScadaVisor:

Service
Devices

Description
Flow computers, compressors, and other types of devices can be accessed and remotely monitored using ScadaVisor. Devices are polled on a schedule and the data is immediately available to all users. Highly configurable alarm engine allows alerts to be raised anytime a condition is met on the data collected. Once raised, notifications can be sent out to one or more employees to take action. Trending alarms identify issues before they become severe enough to force the well to be shut in.

Reporting

Integration

Advanced reporting features provided by SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services allow statistical analysis to be performed on all data collected. Data can easily be compared by group or geographic area. Reports can be scheduled and delivered automatically via email on a specified timeframe. ScadaVisor integrates directly to FieldVisor. It also can be integrated into existing applications through a complete web service API along with data exports and synchronization services. Asset tracking and other functions can be access through maps that run ontop of Bing maps, a Microsoft service. Users can quickly access field devices from a map that even highlights any device that is in alarm status.

Production Summary Report

Reports One of the many production summary reports that are usually used in conjunction with the report scheduler so managers and supervisors get the data they need delivered right to their email without ever having to manually run a report.

Plungerlift Pressure Graph

Graphs This graph plots the pressures taken for a plunger lift well. Pressure trends and anomalies are easy to detect with this graph.

Production Report Flow Graph

Graphs This is a detail report which means it can be scheduled and simply plots out the volumes and gas production. Report such as this can be utilized to plot out the production along with pressures and even valve control changes.

Liquid Split Graph

Graphs This graph plots the oil / water cut for a water flood operation. It stacks the water production on top of the oil production so it is very straightforward to see how the formation is performing or how effective the treatments are.

supervisors. Inventory and parts Inventory and parts can be managed so that the entire inventory of parts whether located in the main warehouse or a pumpers truck can be captured. When a technician replaces a part, the cost and price can be captured and configured to create an invoice for the well. Treatments and service work is captured electronically and stored indefinitely so that a wells entire history is always at your fingertips. A range of activities such as parts, service item, and treatments can be configured as billable items and invoiced on any operating period or schedule. Management can create one-time or scheduled tasks for services, treatments, and many other events in FieldVisor. This allows resources to be more effectively managed and to ensure that routine maintenance is tracked. General messages between users and device issue management is provided through the internal messaging system. When issues arise in the field, technicians create an alert which immediately notifies their superiors that may have to take action. Alarms can be created to monitor anything from oil and gas production drops over time to fluid levels in tanks to alert personnel when oil should be shipped. Since every activity is captured electronically and easily reported on, managers can easily track how each one of their employees are performing. Asset tracking and other functions can be access through maps that run on-top of Bing maps, a Microsoft service. GPS tracking data can be integrated into the data collected from the field so managers can verify the location of field personnel at all times. Advanced reporting features allow statistical analysis to be performed on data collected. Data can easily be compared by groups.
