PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:
Business builder and turnaround expert with a successful track record turning losing operations into profit makers and building startups to multimillion dollar success with double digit market share gains. My last boss, Harold Hickman said, I personally hired Mark about 5 years ago to build from scratch a commercial division for the region I managed. With his knowledge and professionalism, he was able to quickly gather one of the most talented group of young people I have ever seen. Mark and his group accomplished, and actually exceeded my expectations in short order.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Established a Commercial Division for the SE Region of Stewart Title, more than doubling market share. Created an agency network of over 67 top commercial law firms in Florida. Hired and directed a professional staff including attorneys, closers and sales people. Stabilized and revitalized Atlanta National Commercial division for LandAmerica after merger in 1998. Increased market share, averaged over $2 million in profit per year. Created and implemented a strategic plan for the return to profitability of the Commonwealth Land Title El Paso direct operations. Turned money losing operation into consistent six figure profit center in declining market.
