INTERNSHIP PROJECT GUIDELINES

Duration: 01-12-2011 TO 31-01-2012 As per the rules of RCU, for the Masters Degree in Business Administration Completion of the Internship & submission of the Report is one of the requirements for the award of the Degree. It is mandatory every student to adhere to the following rules. 1. The Project work shall be on a Topic in the area of specialization opted by the student. 2. Every student must register the Topic on or before 15-12-2011with their respective guides. 3. No two students shall work on the same topic/project in the same Organization. 4. Every student must submit weekly report to their Internal Guide and seek guidance from them on continuous basis till the completion of the project. 5. Students must contact the respective internal guide of Department at least once in a week regarding the progress of the work done. 6. The Internship Project should have Industry Orientation and the work should be certified by the concerned Organization, where the student has undertaken the project. 7. The Internship Report shall be submitted by the students as per the guidelines prescribed by RCU. 8. Guidelines for project report from RCU, is enclosed for your needful. 9. Submit the Final Project Report in 3 Copies on or before colleges.

INTERNSHIP REPORT (IP09MBA3004)

Objective: To expose the students to understand the organization & take up in depth study of an issue/problem in the area of specialization.

Structure: The project will have two parts: Part: A - Corporate Exposure Part: B Study of an Issue/Problem

- 40% - 60%

General Guidelines 1. The Project work shall be for a period of Ten weeks immediately after the III semester examination, i.e.
from 01-12-2011 to 31-01-2012.

2. The Subject Code of the Internship Report shall be IP09MBA3004and shall be compulsory for all III
semester MBA students opting for all specializations.

3. The University shall receive one SOFT copy of all the Internship Reports in one CD format latest by 10st
March, 2012. 4. Student must select different Organisation/Industry for the Internship Report and no two students are allowed to work on the same problem in the same Organisation.

5. The Internal Guide shall give a certificate to the effect that the candidate has worked satisfactory under
his /her guidance. 6. On completion of the Project Work, student shall prepare a report with the following format. The project report shall be prepared using word processor Viz. MS Word.

All the reports shall be in the printed format with the margin of 1.5 to the left and 1 margin on all remaining sides. The students shall use Times New roman Font and the font size shall be 12, sub tittles with 14 and main headings with 16. The report shall be hard bound facing sheet (only Royal Blue color) indicating the title of the college and month and year of admission (spiral binding not permitted). A certificate by the Guide, Director and Head of the Institution indicating the bonafide performance of the project by the student to be enclosed. An undertaking by the student to the effect that the work is independently carried out by him/her is essential. The certificate from the concerned organization is mandatory. Internship Report shall have the LOGO of the University (Mandatory)
