Description
SALE!! 2011 Baby Jogger City Mini Double In Black/Black Baby Stroller Accessories When a parent has a baby, it is quite important for her to be able to take the baby out to doctor's appointments, run errands, go grocery shopping, etc.. For this purpose, a baby stroller is needed. For this purpose a stroller is needed which will work out quite well for both parent and baby. When it comes to purchasing a baby stroller, the parent should take into consideration the different kinds of baby stroller accessories that come with the stroller and what can be added on to the stroller so that it will make life a lot easier for both parent and baby. Stroller accessories will really help the parent get the best use out of their baby stroller. Here are some considerations that the parent might want to read about when looking for the most functional stroller accessories to help make life just a little easier. If the parent plans to take their baby to the playground or perhaps go to the park to have a picnic lunch, then she should select a stroller that has cup holders and trays so food and drink can be given to the baby along the way. There are even cup holders available for the parent as well. There are plenty of strollers today that have all sorts of pockets and even a basket below where diapers, wipes, bottles and baby food can be stored. There are even some stroller accessories that are bands in adjustable lengths that will easily snap on to the stroller. In this way, the baby will always have her toys close at hand. This saves the parent time from having to pick toys up that the baby has dropped. Even more baby stroller accessories consist of mesh bags that are able to be fastened to the baby stroller that can serve as a diaper bag or anything the parent wants to use it for. One thing to think about is that the baby's skin is very sensitive; if you go outside a lot, make sure the stroller has a large enough canopy to protect baby's sensitive skin. This canopy has the ability to be folded back when it is not being used because babies should be exposed to some sun. When the baby is tiny, there are some stroller accessories that will come in handy. The parent will need harnesses and straps to help keep the little one in the correct position. Newborn babies tend to slide. Since they are not able to reposition themselves, the harnesses and straps can maintain the precious bundle in a comfortable position. Today, when it comes to baby stroller accessories, there are so many strollers to choose from that having so many accessories that they really do intend to help make a parent's existence a great deal better in this day and age rather than fifty years ago. Yes, the day of those heavy, clunky baby buggies is gone. The parent may want to choose a stroller where stroller accessories can be added onto if needed. Here's hoping that the right choice will be made! About the author: At VIPStrollers, you will discover an amazing selection of low priced and excellent quality baby stroller accessories. February 22, 2012 at 5:34 am (Edit) Joovy Ultralight for 19month old and Newborn baby or Baby Jogger City Mini double? I will have a 19 month old active son and newborn daughter in a couple of monthsi really dont want a huge double stroller but still need something for my young toddler son- he loves to walk when he can though! Id love to be able to pop in the infant car seat when out and about so the ultralight is looking good- just not sure the seat is enough for my son? I also love the baby jogger city mini double (we have the single now for him) but it might be too much stroller as he gets closer to 2 years old- and the seats arent that big on it (hes very tall)}. Thanks for the advice mommies! Reply

February 28, 2012 at 4:26 am (Edit) http://www.macklems.com/phil-and-teds-dash.htm These are neat and are not too big so if he wants to walk he can or he can get in the back. or http://www.onestepahead.com/product/osa/6793.html This one has a space to stand at the back. And has a tray so probably car seat ready. Reply

February 29, 2012 at 3:28 am (Edit) I dont have twins, but my kids are 14 months apart, so I used a double stroller for a while. The only advice I can give you is go with the one thats the most streamlined and easiest to maneuver. The one complaint I had about my double was that it was impossible to get around in department stores. I couldnt steer it between the racks because it was so long and bulky Reply

February 24, 2012 at 1:49 pm (Edit) Does anyone have a Baby Jogger Pram for a newborn? I have just bought the City Mini Double to use when baby is here. Has anyone found a good newborn insert/head hugger to use with the pram? I have been looking at soft carry cots to use with the pram too. Anyone else had this problem? (mum to 2 year old & 34w5days pregnant) http://www.babyjogger.com/city_mini_dbl_dtl.aspx Reply

March 1, 2012 at 8:02 am (Edit) I too have the City Jogger (love the quick folding and how easy it is to push) but i can see why you feel you need something for a newborn as the fabric is quite hard. Toys R Us has a really nice newborn insert that i have used before. Nice and padded and soft and can be put easily in the buggy or a car seat. I found that it gave the extra support needed and the baby didnt look lost in a big seat! Should be good for the warmer weather as it doesnt cover the babys front up like a carry cot or footmuff. However if you want a footmuff for colder weather, the Jogger takes a universal fitting one so there are plenty to choose from in all the baby stores. Reply

Which one did you like better? do they fit through standard doors? Im comparingTike Tech City X3 Swivel Double Stroller vs Baby Jogger City Mini Double Stroller Reply

momof2:
February 24, 2012 at 9:30 pm (Edit) two completely different strollers. The Tike Tech is an all terrain stroller while the Mini is better suited for malls/paved terrain. If you want to compare a Tike Tech to the Baby Jogger you need to compare the Elite not the Mini Reply

February 25, 2012 at 3:16 am (Edit) double stroller question? Anyone have a Baby Jogger City Mini Double? I just bought one (have a 2 1/2 year old with another on the way in a month). I like it, I thinkit is smaller than most doubles I have seen and actually fits through most doorways. I was wondering if anyone had experiences with it though I wondered what shopping is like with it and if it was hard. After all, its lightweight and thinner than most doubles, but the seats ARE still side by side. Reply

February 25, 2012 at 4:32 pm (Edit) What stroller do you like the most? Pictures included! Thanks!? So which stroller do you like the most and why? And what color? Im not 100% sold on these ones yet, i cant pick a good color and im not sure if i like the smaller wheels or bigger ones Please any input is great! even if you say i like number one better than 2 or vice versa! lol #1 http://www.albeebaby.com/baby-jogger-city-mini-double-crimson-gray.html #2http://www.albeebaby.com/baby-jogger-city-classic-double-stroller-in-black-stone.html Reply

March 4, 2012 at 8:39 am (Edit) I like #2 better for a number of reasons -It will fit through slim doorways. (I have used a double stroller and some are so big and bulky which makes it harder to get through narrow doorways, aisles -It has 2X the weight capacity of #1. #1 only goes up to 50 lbs for TWO-KIDS! That is approx 25 lbs each. If I had 2 kids, at my daughters weight of 30 lbs at

19 months, they would be grown out. You will be able to use the second one much, much longer than #1. -It is lighter than #1. -It is more attractive. The black color wont fade in the sun as fast as #1 -The tires look more durable. #1 reminds me of those really annoying umbrella strollers. At this point, if I were you, there would be no doubt which one I would buy. Reply

March 3, 2012 at 7:05 pm (Edit) You might rethink a double stroller for this age gap, you will likely only use it for a short time and really it is much easier (and better for baby) to wear the baby and use the stroller for your older child. By the time the baby is ready to go in the stroller much, your older child will likely prefer to walk. The baby jogger city mini is nice and fairly narrow for a double. Really easy to push. But really, any double is going to be big and difficult to fit through narrow store aisles. You might check out the Phil and Teds strollers, they are a larger single that can be converted to a double with an extra seat either in the basket area or on top. Reply

February 28, 2012 at 2:01 pm (Edit) I cant store the 2011 baby jogger city mini double stroller? I just bought this EXPENSIVE 2011 baby jogger city mini double stroller (crimson/gray) and cant store it up right! It doesnt fold as easy as the single city mini and it doesnt stay in an upright position, the stroller opens itself when i put it in a upright position. It comes with a TINY strap that says storage strap ( so im assuming you use that to tighten it so it can stay upright), but the strap is sooooo short its not even funny. I did strap it down but the tiny short velcro strap opens up and there it goes againwide open!!! can anyone help me? maybe im doing something wrong? any feedback is greatly appreciated. this was a very expensive stroller 429.00 a long term investment and i want something that works!!! i

just got it 2 days ago and im already stressed out by it =( Reply

February 29, 2012 at 12:43 am (Edit) Strollers for a Baby and A toddler which one would you buy? Moms which one would you choose? It would be for a new baby and a toddler almost or at least 2 years old. The MAIN features that i am looking for are #1 Can fit into small places (like shopping) #2 Is somewhat light and small when its folded. #3 For both seats to recline and have sun shades OR in your opinion should i just put the little baby in a sling and push the toddler around? I have a nice peg perego stroller that i just cannot get rid of anytime soon. I have this one: http://www.albeebaby.com/peg-perego-p3-stroller-2008-moka.html and these are the double strollers i was looking at: #1 http://www.albeebaby.com/baby-jogger-city-mini-double-2008-brown-tan.html #2 http://www.albeebaby.com/graco-quattro-tour-duo-double-stroller-6k00snt3-sachi.html #3http://www.albeebaby.com/maclaren-2009-twin-techno-double-stroller-black-with-blackframe.html any suggestions? what would you do? or buy and please tell why! Thanks! Edit: also the stroller that I ALREADY own has a step bar in the back for an older kid to stand on but i just think she would be too young to stand on itnot sure though..? Reply

March 2, 2012 at 11:26 pm (Edit) You are so in the same boat I was when I had my second (the oldest was 21 months when my youngest was born). Anyway, I had my heart set on the Joovy Ultralight but my aunt got me the Graco (#2) as a surprise. Heres its prosit will be perfect for the first few months as an almost two year old is still primarily in the stroller all the time, being able to use the car seat in and out for the infant is really nice, and you can cart around a lot of junk in it. BUT, here are the consIt is SUPER heavy, I struggle every time I put it in and out of my car, a small SUV, and it does take up the ENTIRE back of it. It is hard to turn with both kids in it and all that junk. Your older child is going to grow out of it mighty quick my son is now 2.5 and he wants to walk almost everywhere, doing this with the super long double is a pain. That being said, if were out for a long period of time, he will still need a break and wants to sit. I also have a Pliko P3, and my son loves the stand on bar, but it only works if your younger child is sitting up in the seat, not in the car seat in the seat or laying down, as that blocks the bar. If your prone to long outings, say the zoo or museums or even a couple hour trip to the mall, your older child, if he/she is anything like my son, will want to sit for awhile too. The Joovy would be PERFECT, its the sit and stand model (the older child has a large platform to stand on and a jump seat to sit on if they get tired or mom wants to strap them in), it only weighs 21 lbs and turns on a dime. Soooo, long story short, I would totally recommend the Joovy. Im still trying to convince my hubby to buy it but hes strollered out. if you want to try in person. http://www.albeebaby.com/jocaulinbl.html Reply Right Start carries them

March 1, 2012 at 9:47 am (Edit) What double pram would you recommend? My son will be 2.5 when baby 2 is due and I need a double pram. I have been considering the baby jogger city mini double as I have the single and it is fantastic. i would really miss the easy fold mechanism. Any recommendations? Reply

March 6, 2012 at 5:27 am (Edit) My son was two when my daughter was born, I got the Kolcraft Contours tandem (very similar to the city select). I love the pram to bits but Ive only had it a couple of months and it looks like it may be getting mothballed in the near future. My son no longer wants to ride in it that often and hes exactly the age your son will be when your second arrives. Thankfully for me the pram I chose has really good resale value- a secondhand one went for more on ebay than what I paid for mine recently! Reply

March 1, 2012 at 3:35 pm (Edit) Double stroller for twins. Help us shortlist a stroller?

Please help me in narrowing down a stroller. We are parents of twins. We never jog but walk over the sidewalks and visit the stores and mall a lot. I am shopping for a twin stroller and have narrowed it down to 1.city mini double (http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Jogger-Double-JoggingStroller/dp/B002LBZS9E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1263085794&sr=12) 2.BOB revolution 12 AW Duallie (http://www.amazon.com/BOB-Revolution-AluminumDuallie-Stroller/dp/B0011Y0GQ2/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top) 3.Combi twin sport EX stroller (Wasabi) Must Have 1.Safe 2.The most important thing for is comfort for baby. That is nice fabric that does not become too sweaty. Good support for the back. Got to have a cushion. 3.Should have independent reclining seats 4.Should have full shades that are independent of each other 5.Reasonably light below 30 lb 6.Should fit into our SUV. 7.Easy to maneuver Nice to have 1.Should have reasonable storage 2.Must have or have accessories for snack tray and parent cup holder Parents of twins please share your experience Currently we have the snap and go and it does a very great job. However we do not want to have a tandem stroller as the baby sitting in the rear keeps on kicking the baby in the front. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful responses. I really like the Bob dualle 12AW. However my wife had a tough time folding it and lifting it up so I have to rule that one out. The city mini seems to flimsy. Even the sales person said that it is not good for the childs back and it is recommended to add a hardboard. So I ruled that one out to so I am left with only Combi sports LX stroller. So I am thinking about trying this one out. Any advise from combi stroller users for twins? Reply

March 2, 2012 at 6:45 am (Edit) This link has a bunch of user reviews for the BOB Revolution, which I think is a great stroller. http://www.joggingstrollerratings.com/53/bob-revolution-duallie-stroller-review/ However, I actually prefer the baby jogger citi, but I dont like the mini- I find it too small. Here are some reviews on the City Classic model, I think its a better design than the mini, and it has all the features you were looking for. http://www.joggingstrollerratings.com/49/baby-jogger-city-classic-doublejogging-stroller/ Reply

March 3, 2012 at 2:55 pm (Edit) Congratulations on your twins! I was just going to recommend the City Mini Double. Its one of toprated side-by-side strollers on the market. Only downside to that is that they cant take two car seats. When your children are a little older and youre the type of parents who like to get out and be active, the BOB Revolution Duallie is a sure bet as well. A type of stroller I like is called a convertible stroller. It converts from a single to a double and probably the best stroller for twins would be the Baby Jogger City Select. The other option is the Britax B-Ready. Both have removable seats and you can use in their place your car seat or bassinet. Downside: big outlay of $$. Take a look at the research options below. Click to read the thorough reviews and I think youll find them very helpful in selecting the right stroller for your twins. Best of luck and warm regards. Reply

March 4, 2012 at 9:52 pm (Edit) 2011 Baby jogger city mini double stroller maintenance? I just recently bought a 2011 baby jogger city mini double stroller in crimson/gray color. I paid $429.00 for it and have a question on maintaing it. I know the tires wear out and get eaten by the sun, not to mention the color fades away, but my question is, will leaving the stroller in my trunk ( where temperatures are get EXTREMELY HOT) affect the durability of the stroller, tires, color, fabric etc Im willing to take in and out the house as I use it, but I admit it would be a hassle to do that. I really want it to last because it will be the stroller we keep for when baby number arrives. any help or feedback is greatly appreciated .. thank you Reply
