Assessment A group of actions aimed at getting information about the ss performance in order to intervene at different moments (before, during and after) in the teachinglearning process, and decide whether the teaching situations, the organization of work in the classroom, the use of materials and the kind of help or guidance provided are on the right track towards reaching the programs purposes.

It is a systematic and organized collection of evidence used by the teachers and the students to show the development of the knowledge, abilities and attitudes. Portfolios offer a child-friendly way of assessing language development and gaining insight into childrens views, attitudes, and language-learning strategies. This could include: Reports, tests, goals of the student for the course, self-assessments, projects, videos, and other. It is built through the time and is evaluated periodically according to pre-set criteria

PORTFOLIO

Observations go beyond walking around the room to see if students are on task or need clarification. Observations assist teachers in gathering evidence of student learning to inform instructional planning. This evidence can be recorded and used as feedback for students about their learning or as anecdotal data shared with them during conferences.
