    Guidelines for Master Resume Submission, Campus Placements 2011-12

    Master Resume will not be sent to the companies, you would need to apply with a different resume for each company. The sections of your master resume should be according to the order given on the next page. The headings in a section may be given in any order desirable to you; however the headings of two different sections should not be mixed together. You can leave out any heading that is not relevant to you. The resumes that you submit to the company should STRICTLY be a subset of your master resume. All the points that you mention in your company resume must be handpicked from the master resume. No variation whatsoever is permitted. There is no bar on the length of the master resume. You can write any number of points under a heading and a fact may be repeated any number of times in the master resume in different forms. All the points mentioned in the master resume must be verified with proper documents or certificates. Project Verification forms (PVF) would need to be submitted if you write about Internships, Sponsored Research Projects, Publications or Patents as communicated to you earlier. Students of Y7 or earlier batches need not submit PVFs for their internships; however they need to submit it for the other three categories i.e. Research Projects, Publications & Patents. Any violations to the above rules attracts penalty on the student, which in extreme cases may lead to de-registration from the placement process. In all matters, the final decision shall be taken by the Chairman & the members of the SPC.
