A Non-Partisan Political Statement: Elect Americans of Filipino Ancestry!

For the next three months, we invite you to run in a race with us --- a spirited sprint to the finish line in the road to political empowerment!
A Political Action Committee FPPC# 1277359

We, the Filipino American community and our friends, can play a pivotal and instrumental role. We have an incredible opportunity to reach many, many American voters --- and share our stories about our political candidates of Filipino ancestry --- and why they are the right change makers and leaders in government. Imagine a perfect world where these courageous political aspirants are fully engaged by our support. They are inspired to work harder and smarter --- and win! It can happen. Build it --- and they will come. Construct a strong, authentic support infrastructure so that all our political candidates have to do is open their doors and welcome the people who believe that they are their grassroots representatives of progress and change. It happens one at a time --- a person, a home, a street, a neighborhood, a city, and a district. The Friends of the Filipino American Community (FFAC), a political action committee in California, is turning the wheels of political empowerment with a common sense approach to political representation, regardless of political party affiliation.

Meet and Greet three highly-qualified, exceptional political candidates to the California State Assembly:
Rob Bonta, Vice-Mayor of Alameda, CA (http://www.robbonta.com) Chris Mateo, Vice-Mayor of Lathrop, CA (http://chrismateo.com) Dr. Jennifer Ong, Commissioner, Alameda County Commission on the Status of Women (http://drjenniferong.org) We can help these candidates make it all the way to the California State Assembly. We will come from everywhere in the United States to help out. Whether we call it the Filipino Agenda, Asian American and Pacific Islander Agenda, or Ethnic/Minority Agenda, we can all agree that we need more highly-qualified and credible VOICES to represent our huge communities and stakeholders --- in places where public policies determine the quality of life and type of environment where they live and work in.

There will always be differences in opinion yet we also need to be vigilant in preventing and eliminating bigotry in our communities. We can take the higher road to empowerment by walking our talk in being genuinely united in stating our political position.
Join us in this historical opportunity!
