MARKRT HIGHLIGHT
The Indian market closed with moderate gains today with banking being the best perfomer; Nifty ended up 19.60 to settle at 5359.35 while Sensex was up 52.83 pts at 17636.8. European markets were mixed with DAX down 2.60 pts at 6939.17, CAC up 5.51 at 3505.24 and FTSE down 4.50 at 5926.75. Dow future was down 10 pts at 12963.

Indian market ended up by 0.37%; Nifty up 19.60 pts & Sensex up 52.83 pts. German Retail sales m/m came at -1.6%. European markets were

mixed with CAC lead; Dow future was down 10 pts.
