our spiritual sight, but never from God's observation & perspective , as the writer of a(entations

victory that our Christ is having us to 1now , realise is in the unveiling of what , who we are , what is

sharing these words with his fellows of the - earnest or foretaste - *elievers of that day. !any who are

Part of the unveiling is in realising that so called Christian tradition is *eing overta1en *y a dee)er
understanding of what 2od is really saying to us today. / very (uch li1e the A()lified rendition of the

This *eautiful , yet tragic story we are a*out to )eruse is one that we have shared )reviously$ *ut this
ti(e / wish to share it in a higher understanding than / have to date realised. A*salo( had (urdered his
*rother A(non *ecause of the ra)ing of his sister Ta(ar$ who was A*salo('s full sister - who he
esteemed & cared for most highly - , A(non's half sister. The worst )art of this (ost des)ica*le act was
that after A(non had defiled his half sister$ he then *rushed her aside , hated her$ yet he could well have
ta1en her as his wife which in that day was Buite legiti(ate.

to consider how he was not yet co()letely agreeing with the true heart of the Dather. So ''&n order to

has wisdom lie the wisdom of the angel of God--to now all things that are on the earth. Then the ing

saying to us today David had to co(e the )lace where he would$ as did the )rodigal father long to not
only see his son's face *ut would 0iss him which as we will soon see have a very$ very significant
(eaning.
''Then when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have enough food, and

the son to show his father his re)entance , willingness to do all in his )ower to get to the )lace where he
could *e in close touch with his father.
The true death that is signified here is the veil or se)aration *etween soul , s)irit which ha))ened in
2en Cha) ' when Ada( or (an first ate of the tree of good , evil within his very own *eing or garden
within , *egan to live his inner life eating fro( the wrong tree , was deceived into thin1ing that there

indeed good news$ *ut it is the words in his sight that we really need to understand. The word sight is
fro( the word paniym , really (eans presence, favour, honourable, face, mouth, in other words even in
hu(an ter(s the (ost )ersonal )art of a )erson are these last two things $ace & m"uth. 4ere this is
s)ea1ing a*out our .0D , 4e is telling us that those who are returning to 4i( in this third day 4e is
raising us u) to live in His $ace in other words we are to *e given the (ost wonderful 1iss of 1isses the

The 8iss O The 8ing O 8ings!
This is the (ost )ersonal sign of favour , acce)tance fro( the "ternal Jehovah 2od , it carries with it
the highest significance ever. !an was once *efore given a si(ilar 1iss , that is when 2od *reathed into
(an's nostrils the *reath of life. That 2od is (ore than willing to *estow u)on us the iss of )eity is
*orne out not only fro( the ty)e of David , his son A*salo($ *ut in the account of the )rodigal , as the
son returned /# DA/T4 to the father trusting in his goodness$ the father ran in res)onse to his son's action

A*salo( deter(ination to return to the father. / have erred$ co(e short$ / no longer deserve to *e

*egan to revel , feast , (a1e (erry. The result of this 1iss of 1isses is a change that we are fro( thence
to live in His sight$ that is we will then *eco(e (anifest sons of 2od$ or rede()tion fro( ever
e+)eriencing the grave$ this will reveal our true ado)tion as 2od's sons.
The ;esponse To )aith Is Action!
2od's res)onse to our faith is an action of running E as it were - toward us. 4ave we not *een encouraged
, even ad(onished to '')raw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.'' The faith of 2od in action in
(an will (ove 2od. S(ith Wigglesworth once said if 2od does not (ove (e then / (ove 2od. This
was )roven at least once when he was )raying for a dead (an$ nothing was ha))ening$ *eing a fairly

The )raise , )resence of 2od are the (ost i()ortant things in our life$ so(eti(es these are not in our
lives to their full e+tent si()ly *ecause of (isunderstanding$ false infor(ation , (ost of all tradition.

power & eternity. The 2ree1 word for heaven is ouranos oo-ran-os. #ow to eBuate what Jesus was
