Each August, a golf tournament has been organized by the Salem Glens Falls National Bank manager, Rose Ann Savage, to provide support. The van gladly picks the riders up at home and transports them to the Greenwich Hannaford on Tuesday, the Cambridge IGA on Wednesday and the Granville Price Chopper on Thursday. There is no charge for this service which is open to anyone in need of transportation. UNCLE WALLY WONDERS

I wonder to whom this word relates: INEPTOCRACY. Ineptocracy is a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

UNCLE WALLY WONDERS

A philosopher, Adrian Rogers, (1931-2005) said it as good as anyone else: You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of a prosperous nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. Dont you see the huge error in Obamas thinking? The exploitation of class envy only serves to empower the leaders catering to the do nothings. I wonder, dont you, if he is utilizing a version of divide and concur to wield power.
