Objectives:

• To promote and sell AROMA products of Ripple Fragrances Pvt. Ltd. in


Akbarallys, Chembur & Fountain outlet under the brand name of IRIS.
• To understand customers buying pattern.
• To understand and implement training techniques & manpower planning.
• To find the market share of different aroma products in the market through
conducting the market survey
• Awareness of aroma products of Ripple Fragrance Pvt. Ltd.
• To find the Market shares of different Car fresheners available in the
market.
• To promote Lia Car fresheners in Mumbai market (Ripple fragrance Pvt.
Ltd).

Methodology Adopted:

1. Interacted with various customers coming to visit Akbarallys, Chembur &


Fountain, thus bringing Ripple Fragrances Pvt. Ltd as a manufacturer of
various aroma products to their notice.
2. Personally gave information to the customers visiting the counters about the
features & advantages of various aroma products manufactured by Ripple
Fragrances Pvt Ltd which are all based on aromacology.

3. Understood the buying behavior and consuming pattern of customers as


regards to various products available under fragrance category by asking
their views as regards to various fragrance products.

4. Trained a counter sales executive of Ripple Fragrances Pvt Ltd by giving


him information & knowledge about the company and its various product
lines under the aroma category.

5. Also trained the counter sales executive to adopt the various selling &
customer interaction techniques used for marketing & selling the products.

6. Motivated the counter sales executive to perform well, by informing him


about the steady growth pattern of the employees followed by Ripple
Fragrances Pvt Ltd.

7. Collected the database of the gift Shoppe according to area wise.

8. Conducted the survey in different region of Mumbai as follows


Central Mumbai:- C.S.T, Dadar .Thane, Dombivali, Kurla-kalina Road
Western Mumbai:- Bombay Central , Mahalaxmi , Andheri & Santacruz
Harbor Mumbai: Kharghar, Sanpada &Vashi

9. Five of the whole-sellers from Crowford Market, Mumbai were contacted


and their views noted. Information is not taken only taken from gift
shoppee but also from whole-sellers & their views are noted.

10. Thirty-five small gift shop owners were surveyed about their various
experiences toward the sale of aroma product.

11. Total 40 questionnaires were collected from various gift shoppee through
face to face interactions.

12. Surveyed retail outlet of car accessories shop regarding sale of car
fresheners in different areas of Mumbai market.

13. Promoted Lia Car fresheners at various Traffic signals.


14. Introduced Lia Car fresheners to different vendors of retail car accessories
shop.

Conclusion:

• It gave an exposure to the market scenario of brand promotion, direct sales &
manpower implementation techniques.

• Market survey gave an understanding of the competitor’s strategies, their product


availability & product categories.

• Improved the communication skills on having an interaction with the various


customers & car users at traffic signals.

• Got a certificate from the company and a word of appreciation from Mr. Danish
Shaikh-Business Head Maharashtra Circle.
