Reaching and teaching Americas key high school audience Americas traditional free-market / limited-government philosophy has taken on an even more dramatic sense of urgency given the current national economic crisis. This crisis has provided the nations bigger-government forces the excuse and opportunity to implement unprecedented government intervention in, and control over, our business and personal affairs. This intervention and control means risking significant loss of our individual freedoms and liberties, which will lead to a dramatic lowering of the standard of living of all Americans as the result of staggering deficits/debt, massive unemployment, run-away inflation, devaluation of our currency, and confiscatory taxation! In response to this urgency, we are preparing for national distribution a series of in-depth and high-interest resource theme-packets providing up-to-date teacher-preparation/studentstudy information covering a wide variety of national public-policy issues. These theme-packets are non-partisan they favor no particular group or party; rather, they stress the principles and values that support the traditional American concepts of individual rights and responsibilities, private property, free markets, and limited, Constitutional government. For just $250.00 per school year, we will provide this exciting series of nine monthly themepackets (approximately 500 to 750 pages) to the Social Studies Department Chair in each participating school, with permission to reprint the packets so each teachers students in the entire high school will have the opportunity to study this material. If each series is used by just three teachers (a conservative estimate) in the participating school (each teacher teaching 100 students), then the per-pupil cost will be just 84 for the entire school year! This material is part of an on-going series of educational programs I have been providing teachers and students throughout the Nation for more than two decades. This guarantees that approximately 1,200,000 high school students will have the opportunity to learn key American principles and values during the school year. Of course, if each individual, business firm, or organization sponsors two (2) schools, then 2,400,000 high schoolers will be reached. And, if each sponsor supports just three (3) schools, at least 3,600,000 teens nationwide will have the opportunity to learn, understand, and adopt as their own, the fundamental principles and values of Americas free society.

A citizenship-education program directed to the National secondary school audience

PUBLIC-POLICY STUDIES: Prepare (research and develop) and provide (distribute) nonpartisan teacher-preparation/student-study resource theme-packets to classroom teachers, department chairs, curriculum development directors, and students at the nations secondary public, private, and parochial schools. Theme-packets will address major national public-policy issues to encourage discussion/debate of a wide range of perspectives. Analytical approach will help develop (a) critical-thinking skills and (b) independent inquiry and judgment among the high school audience. Encouraging students to think for themselves will lead to the key objective preparing the nations teenagers to become informed and effective citizens. ECONOMIC EDUCATION: Prepare (research and develop) and provide (distribute) programs and materials for use in free-market oriented economic education at the secondary school level. Indepth examination of the fundamentals of free-market economics, including comparisons and contrasts with the command-and control features of non-market economic structures/system. Special emphasis to be put on the role of the entrepreneur and the characteristics of the entrepreneurial spirit in our economic system. Overall objective is to develop in students a broader understanding of and deeper appreciation for the principles, practices, and values of private enterprise in America. DRUG-ABUSE EDUCATION: Prepare (research and develop) and provide (distribute) programs and materials for use in classroom and campus-wide settings. STOP DRUGS will be student oriented and will employ the Peer Pressure principle-using other students influence to help keep fellow students from experimenting with drugs in the first place. Educate rather than have to rehabilitate will be the motto of this educational effort. PATRIOTIC EDUCATION: Prepare (research and develop) and provide (distribute) programs and materials for use in various activities within the classroom and throughout the secondary-school campus. OPERATION RED, WHITE AND BLUE will encourage learning more about our national heritage and the values of our experiment in self-government. Americas September 11th experience of the awful reality of terrorism in todays world demands that we provide our young people the opportunity to reinforce their/our dedication to our nations fundamental values and to instill in them a determination to preserve, protect and defend those values into the future. YOUTH CITIZENSHIP ACTION: Prepare (research and develop) and provide (distribute) programs and materials for use in community-service activities consistent with the high schools extra-curricular philosophy and practices. Areas of interest will include: Youth-senior citizen teamwork activities; environment-related projects/activities; various other school/community partnership initiatives geared to the individual school and its local community.

TEACHING TEENAGERS TRADITIONAL AMERICAN VALUES
A Continuing Series of National Public-Policy Theme Packets for high school teachers of contemporary issues, economics, government, political science, civics, current events, problems of democracy, and history. Nine (each school year) high-interest and up-to-date teacher preparation / student-study resource theme packets examining the personalities, key issues, and the political / economic / ideological dynamics of the national public-policy debate of the postCold War era at the dawn of the 21st Century and the Third Millennium.
