And the Moral of the Story Is?

CAP cadets receive moral leadership training as part of their educational program. The goal of the moral leadership program is to instill in the cadets a commitment to live CAP's Core Values, and encourage them think critically about moral and ethical issues. The training consists of a forum for cadets to examine their own moral standards and values in the framework of a guided discussion. In the past four months, (Senior Member) Second Lt. Don Chambers has led Moral Leadership discussions on: --Cutting Corners and Taking the Easy Way Out --Friends, Values, and Choices --The Definition of Victory --Actions Reflect What We Value There has been an average cadet attendance of 19 members and has been some lively participation. Cadets are encouraged to take notes and keep the discussion materials for future reference. We have a great group of cadets and this is just one part of the character development that the cadets learn through CAP activities and training. Next month (February 2008), we will cover Moral Choices related to Technology. For more information, contact Lt. Chambers at 678-261-7728 or e-mail at: AuburnWE@gmail.com

The Making of the 747 Presented by Major Hima The Boeing 747, sometimes nicknamed the "Jumbo Jet", is the first widebody commercial airliner ever produced. The Boeing 747, manufactured by Boeing in the United States, is among the world's most recognizable aircraft. The original version of the 747 was two and a half times the size of the Boeing 707, one of the common large commercial aircraft of the 1960s. First flown commercially in 1970, it held the passenger capacity record for 37 years.
