Start-ups 1. (Desired Outcome #1) By the end of this meeting, participants will have an understanding of the importance of being a reflective educational practitioner. 1. Think Pair Share The facilitator will present a question to the group and ask for everyone to think about his or her response. The facilitator will then ask the thinkers to discuss the question in pairs. Finally the facilitator will ask for a few volunteers to share their responses for all to hear. 2. Action Thermometer The facilitator will post a question without one clear answer. Participants will move to corners of the room to indicate whether they agree, disagree, or are unsure. 1. Participants will work in groups to respond to a question place at their table. When music is played, they must move to another table with a new question. 3. Consensus Making Each grade level team will select a strategy and create a plan to implement and evaluate the strategy. Teams will share their plans using www.linoit.com
