Credit Points 04

Teaching Hrs/Week 3

Practical Hrs/Week 2

Objective

Primary objective of Mobile Computing course is to understand the concepts of mobile technology and wireless communication. To learn about GSM technology to more advanced wireless broadband technology WiMax, LTE. Fundamentals of cellular network, design issues and advances in cell design e.g. Femtocell. Mobile TCP/IP, basic concept of mobility and mobility management some other topics to explore. At the completion of mobile computing course students will develop problem based and project based learning to understand the course in an effective way.
